7

I know.....

You're just dying to hear my meme on 7 things about me. I'm not tagging anyone, as a matter of fact, I've already forgotten the rules, so here are 7 things you may or may not know about me.

1. I've never met ANYONE with my first name. Most people have a hard time pronouncing my first name. I've even had someone correct me on my own first name.

2. I have a pretty good singing voice and am asked to sing in church quite often.

3. I played the cymbals in the marching band in my senior year of high school.

4. I've only met my father once (in person) since I was 5.

5. I have a half-brother that I've never met and I don't even know his name.

6. I hate feet. Sorry, they creep me out. The only exception would be baby feet..who doesn't like baby feet?

7. I went to 14 different schools growing up, 2 in Germany.

There, are you happy now?

By the way, butt itch is going away, but still lingering. Oh, and number 8? I like butt itch!

butt itch

I really depend on the internet to tell me the important things in life. I read blogs and I learn a lot, really I do.....

So how come nobody bothered to tell me about butt itch?

You know what I'm talking about...don't pretend that you don't. You know EXACTLY what I'm talking about.

But just in case you are playing dumb, or have never experienced it yet, let me fill you in.

After a hard spanking, especially the next day.........

YOUR BUTT ITCHES!

Excuse me while I scratch my butt!

*scroll down if you want to know WHY my butt itches!*

lessons

There hasn't been much spanking going on around my house lately. So image my surprise when Bossman takes me home after dropping the little man at football practice and decides to spank me.

Frankly, we haven't discussed it much. I've pretty much given up talking about it. I mean, comments are made about spanking all the time but there isn't any follow through. I've come to terms with the fact that I just need to be happy with what I get and not worry about it when it doesn't happen when I want it to happen. Since I can't control Bossman, it's useless to stress myself out about things that don't happen. It makes me unhappy and it makes him unhappy and then things get unhappy in the relationship.

But look who I'm telling all this to. I'm sure you have all dealt with things like this before, whether it's spanking or something else, it's hard when you want something and it doesn't happen when or how you want. It's hard to not be able to control things like that. Wouldn't it be great if we could control things like that? But that would mean we could control other people's minds.

Ever play the Sims on the computer? If we could control the minds of others, it would be a lot like the Sims and would get boring rather quickly. There would be nothing spontaneous, life would be too predictable.

Wait a second....I was going to tell you about my spanking.

We got back from the practice and the wildchild was home. Bossman and I watched the news for awhile (my ears are starting to bleed with political mumbo jumbo) and then the wildchild left for work. Bossman pulls me off the sofa and I know by the look in his eyes that he had spanking in mind.

He took me into the bedroom, pulled down my pants and....well...you KNOW what he did next....

He pulled down my panties...of course!

Ok, after he did that, he pulled me over his knee and preceded to spank me long and hard with his hand. Now his hand is normally my favorite. But it was long...and hard. Then something strange happened to me, I started laughing!

I KNOW! What is THAT about anyway? Laughing? It really wasn't a laughing matter, as a matter of fact, it was hurting like hell. I had tried to wiggle away, I tried kicking my legs, I tried begging and pleading and then, when I thought it was getting to be too much I...I....I LAUGHED??????

If there is a lesson to be learned here I learned it. Want to know what I learned?

I learned that if you laugh during a spanking, it doesn't make it stop. As a matter of fact, since I started laughing Bossman decided he needed something a tad stronger to get his point across.

If I haven't mentioned this before, let me mention this now....backscratchers are from the DEVIL!

So since I started laughing, Bossman pulled out the dreaded backscratcher. The second lesson I learned, the backscratcher doesn't make me laugh. As a matter of fact, the backscratcher will make laughing cease immediately.

I will say that Bossman outdid himself on the spanking front last night. That was one of the hardest spankings I've ever gotten. There was no getting out of it and believe me when I say, I tried all the tricks of the trade. I tried begging, I tried pleading, I tried wiggling, I tried kicking and I tried getting up numerous times. Nothing worked.

One other thing....

Am I the only one that likes to have both sides evenly smacked? I learned that I hate having one side smacked longer or harder than the other. It's just not right to give the cheeks uneven treatment. Not only that, but it drives me NUTS!

After the spanking Bossman takes all my clothes off and tells me to stand at the wall for 5 minutes. Literally 2 minutes later, he practically threw me on the bed on my stomach. For a brief moment, I thought he was going to continue spanking me, but then he pulled my butt up and I knew where this was going. I pulled my knees on to the bed, (which, in case you are wondering, makes the height for doing it doggy style perfect for us) and well, you guess it, we did it like dogs. Then he flopped me over and did it from the top. Then, well...SHEEZ people, isn't that enough information for you?

I think you can use your imagination on the rest of this......

The last lesson I learned? My husband can spank when he sets his mind to it. He can be dominate and bossy and down right sexy....and DAMN...that's just HOT!

Remember the dead guy?

Guess he wasn't dead when I saw him.

Sad. Very sad.

the long road home

*in case you haven't been keep up..this is part 5 of my Vegas story. If you'd like to read the first 4, please....scroll down.*

By this time you are probably thinking there is no way that all this stuff happened to us. Do you really think I could make all this stuff up?

After a restful (HA) 4 hours of sleep, the little angel woke up. Lucky for me, he is a happy child and he woke in a great mood. Unlucky for the little angel, Bridezilla forgot to pack diapers!

After trying to call Bridezilla and getting a voice mail, I phoned my mom. She was already up and dressed so she went downstairs to find some diapers. How does one forget to pack diapers for their baby? I may never get the answer to that question.

After the crisis was averted, I got the little angel dress and I got myself dressed. Since the rest of the occupants of my room were still snoring, I took the little angel downstairs to find juice and something to eat.

When I got back upstairs, we packed up our stuff. The little angel started getting fussy. After getting stuff packed, I took the angel to my mom's room, because she had the car seat in her room. The little angel started getting REALLY fussy. Then he started to cry. Now the plan was to meet D for breakfast as she had just gotten home from her cruise and we wanted to see her before heading home. The little angel, he wasn't happy. Nothing I did would stop him from crying. I watch him everyday and he has NEVER been this way at my house before. He could not be consoled. When they came for our baggage, he was still crying, he cried all the way through the hotel and continued to cry while we waited for the car. I was working on a little amount of sleep and I was ready to pull my hair out.

After securing the car seat in the car, we stuffed our stuff in the car and started driving. I figured he was probably tired and would fall asleep in the car. NOPE. He just cried and cried. We called D and told her that we would stop to see her, but it didn't look like we were going to be able to eat with her. I called Bridezilla and told her the problem because I wasn't sure if he was sick or what. Bridezilla called me back and said they would probably just keep him in Vegas with them.

It was too far to take him to Bridezilla first, so we just went to the restaurant to see D. When we got there, I handed the little SCREAMING angel to Bossman and started telling D about our Vegas adventure. Bossman took the little angel across the parking lot and for some reason decided to take off his shoes.....guess what? It worked! He stopped crying. I don't know if his shoes were hurting him (they didn't hurt him earlier in the morning, but maybe a sock was pinching) or maybe he was just done crying. In any case, he stopped. And we were able to go in and eat with D after all. I called Bridezilla and told her the baby was fine, but she said that the groom wanted to keep the baby after all. FINE with me. I wasn't looking forward to driving 7 hours home with him, even if he was in a good mood.

We had a nice breakfast with D and then headed to Bridezillas hotel. The groom was waiting. The little angel fell directly asleep as soon as we got in the car, so the groom carried him up to their room. Bridezilla? Well, if looks could kill, I would not be here to type this right now!

After dropping off the baby, it was time to hit the road. We were all quite grateful that this trip was finally ending......or was it?

5 minutes down the road I get a text from Bridezilla. "Good thing the wedding turned out nice because NOTHING else did!"

How does one respond to such a thing? I chose the high road. I didn't respond at all. If I tried to respond at the moment I probably would have lost my cool and frankly...I hate losing my cool.

We almost made it home without incident, but the trip wouldn't be complete if we didn't have one more thing to talk about. About 10 miles from our house, we come across a car accident that had just happened. It was in a dead zone for cell phones and when Bossman slowed down, they stopped us and asked us to call 911 at the top of the hill. A truck had gone off the road and there was a passenger trapped. It was dark, so we could see the truck at all.

We got to the top of the hill, phoned 911 and finally, finally picked up the little man and headed home.

All in all, I would say this was the most exciting trip to Vegas I've ever been on.

I'm thinking that for our anniversary, we should renew our vows in Vegas....

And let Bridezilla plan it for us!

Um, maybe not..........

The Wedding Ditchers

In the last episode the wedding ditchers happened upon a ~gasp~ dead body. Now, I know it's Vegas. I know that lots of things happen in Vegas. But a dead body? Well, I just wasn't prepared for that.

Seems someone got murdered on the strip. People were running around, police were swarming the area. It looked like a job for CSI Las Vegas. Since we had the window open, we could hear the officers asking for things like rubber gloves. We could see the yellow tape going up. Yes folks, it looked like this had JUST happened and they were still after the suspect.

Want to know the sick part of this? People were taking pictures of the body. When I say people, I mean, tourist. Talk about sick puppies. I wasn't taking pictures, that's for SURE!

As traffic starts moving again we see that they are about to block off the entire strip. Sidewalk, street, everything. Luckily for us, they pulled the yellow tape behind our car. When speaking to a cabbie later, he informed us that had we been stuck in the yellow tape, the wouldn't have let us leave until they were done investigating, and THAT would have probably taken hours. The cabbie also informed us that they are rude and wouldn't have cared how long we would have had to wait. Which just goes to show, we DID have a tiny bit of luck on our side.

We decided to stop at a convenience mart that was across from the hotel so we could get some WATER! There was a homeless guy in front of the store that was doing a crazy break dance. My brother and Bossman gave the man some of their change. Mind you, it's 12:30 in the morning and the thermometer says it's 79 outside. The guy tells Bossman that he's break dancing to keep warm as the shelters were closed and it was going to be a cold night. My brother says, "Dude, it's 79 out here, I don't think it's going to be cold tonight". I was hysterical laughing. I though maybe after all this drama I was losing my mind, but seriously, that was FUNNY!

After all that excitement, we got back to our hotel and decided to take a taxi to Fremont street. Fremont is "old" Vegas. Lucky for us, it's only a 12 dollar cab ride to Fremont street and since everyone was caught on the strip, it wasn't even crowded. We found a nice bar that was empty. It had leather sofas and easy chairs and it was perfect for 4 exhausted wedding ditchers. My mom just wanted a margarita. My brother was thrilled to finally get a beer. So we sat. And drank. And talked about Bridezilla.

If you've kept up with this story at all, you are probably wondering what happened to my brothers friend. Since this night has been nothing but murder and mayhem....what's a little more drama added to the mix?

Before I tell you where the friend was, let me explain. Both of Bossman's sister live in Vegas. The one with cancer, D, was on a cruise for the week and was coming home that night, so we had plans with her for breakfast. The other sister also lives in Vegas and she is nothing but drama. She is totally on the MIL's side of things and doesn't speak to D at all. But, we thought we were on good terms with her. We saw her Friday night and all seemed well with her. She was invited to the wedding, but Saturday afternoon, informed me that she had other plans with friends of hers. I told her we would be busy with the wedding all night (boy were we!) but if she wanted to hang out with us, she should give us a call and meet up with us.

I tell you all this, because this is the next part of the drama. See, while we were doing the wedding thing, she and my brothers friend hung out together. Actually, the friend, lets call him S, met up with her and her friends on Fremont street earlier in the evening.

So, fast forward to 1:30 am. We are sitting in the bar, finally enjoying ourselves, when Bossman gets a call from his sister. She is so drunk that Bossman can't really understand much of what she's saying, but the jest of it was...."I don't know why you called me, and I'm safe now." Not sure what that means, but Bossman told her to call him back when she was sober.

Now we are all curious...what the heck happened? My brother calls S to find out what happened that night. S tells my brother that he met my SIL on Fremont street and she and her friends were playing some sort of drinking game that involved going from bar to bar, drinking shots and then something about snorting salt and putting something in their eye. Don't ask me what that means, I have NEVER heard of such a thing. BUT the bottom line? The SIL was plastered by 7:30. Apparently all her friends ditched her, and she had NO money to get home. Seems it was going to cost 60 bucks to send her home in a taxi. S didn't really want to pay her taxi, so he took her back to our hotel. Well, she threw-up all over the taxi. S felt bad for the cabbie and gave him 30 bucks. THEN she made a huge scene at the hotel, bumped her head on the cement when she was throwing up and S finally threw her in a taxi and paid another 40 bucks to get her home.

Um, yeah....

After hearing about that drama, we decided some gambling is in order. We find this cool table that seats 4 and the dealer is actually a video of a cute girl. We play blackjack, make fun of the video dealer and my mom wins money while the rest of us lose it all.

We finally head back to the hotel, but not before I get a call from my daughter wondering what is going on because Bridezilla wants to know why we aren't back yet. Then Bridezilla sends me a text saying "Since you didn't go back to the hotel, I guess that means you guys didn't want to hang out with us."

DUH!!

We made it back to the hotel around 3:30am unscathed.

So, is the drama over? We have the little angel in our room, so I know I won't get much sleep. We are taking the little angel home with us the next day. The plan is to pack up, meet D (the SIL with cancer) for breakfast and then head home.....

How do you think THAT plan turned out?

*cue the music of doom*

Tune in for another exciting episode of Bridezilla and the Wedding Ditchers.

to hell and back part III OR The Wedding Ditchers

So, the wedding was beautiful. The full 20 minutes that was the wedding. It was, by far, the best part of the entire trip.

After the wedding, Bridezilla had it in her mind that we were all to trapes back to her hotel room for cake. Of course, she neglected to remember that the room was left a disaster, with all the make-up and hair doing going on there.

So, since I had her room key, my mom, brother, Bossman and the wildchild and her friend and I (did you get all that?) went back to her room to straighten up. About 30 minutes after we finished Bridezilla and the groom showed up. By this time, it's about 8pm. The newlyweds tell us that we have to wait for the grooms family to show up so we can cut the cake. So we wait....

and wait....

and wait....

While waiting, my mom asks Bridezilla when was the last time the baby had eaten? The groom says, he had a good breakfast. HUH? It's 8pm. What does Bridezilla do? she takes frosting off a cupcake and gives him the unfrosted cupcake. We look in the fridge and the only thing in there is soda and champaine. No food for the baby.

My mother was NOT happy about that.

The grooms family arrives. About 5 minutes later, the grooms family leaves. We still have NOT cut the freaking cake! The grooms family was smart. They took one look at the situation and headed straight for the door. Smart people. I should have went with them. THEY, were going for food.

Finally Bridezilla decides that we should cut the cake. Ya THINK????

After the ceremonial cutting of the FREAKING CAKE....we have to figure out what to do with the kids. Since the kids were staying at our hotel, we had to figure out how to get them there. By this time, it's close to 9:30pm.

The grooms brother finally shows up with the van that has the babyseat. We load the babies things (that's right, the baby's things were not even packed and ready to go!)and head to our hotel.

Before heading out, Bossman took the kids to the food court to get food. Now Bridezilla had this crazy idea of going to a place called Coyote Ugly to throw the bouquet. If you don't know about Coyote Ugly, its a bar where they dance on the bar. This place is within walking distance of Bridezillas hotel, so she said she would meet us there.

Mind you, WE are taking care of her children.

So we take the children to our hotel and head back to hers. By this time it's 10:30 and remember, it's Saturday night on the strip. Can you say "Crowded"?

Bossman, my brother, my mom and I head back to this bar. We park the car and have to walk about a mile to get to this bar. See, they make you walk through the whole casino from the parking area. Remember, I only got about 4 hours of sleep the night before and in case you didn't know this about me...I don't do tired well. I LOVE my sleep and I'm not ashamed to admit to all of you, I usually go to bed pretty early.

We finally get to the bar and guess what? Bridezilla had already gone into the bar and done her thing. WITHOUT US! After we waited for HOURS for that freaking cake AND took care of HER children, she did it without us.

Now, in the grand scheme of things, it doesn't quite matter that I missed it. None of us minded that part too much. The part that bugged us was that she didn't even bother to call us and tell us that they already did it. Instead they made us walk a mile, just to tell us they already did it. The other problem is....they had NO other PLAN!

So, they decided to walk to another casino. This casino is only across the street, but guess what.....

A Jimmy Buffet concert had just gotten out. Thousands of people started streaming out of the casino, dressed in ridiculous costumes (coconut bras...and these were the men)and all going the opposite direction that WE were going in.

By this time it's reaching 11:30pm. Every bar we passed wasn't good enough for Bridezilla. We finally happen upon a place that has a 20 dollar cover charge for men and is free for women. It's called an "intimate bar". My brother takes one look at the place and says "I am not going into that bar with my mother". Bossman can see on my face that I wasn't really interested in going into that bar so he tells Bridezilla that we aren't going in. My mother tells Bridezilla that she's tired and old (way to play the old card Mom!) and wants to go back to the hotel.

The bride? She starts crying. In the casino. My brother? He turns his back and starts muttering "Moms gonna blow, Moms gonna blow" and wanted to know why it was 11:40 and he still didn't have a drink. Me? I just had to laugh!

So, we left the bride crying in the casino. Don't worry, she wasn't like bawling her eyes out, but she sure didn't look like a newly wed. She looked like she just lost her best friend. But at that point, we didn't CARE!

So we walked back to our car. It was a LONG walk back to the car. We were dying of thirst. Not just alchol, we needed WATER! There was a water machine in the garage and guess what? It wouldn't take our money! I swear, if we didn't have bad luck, we'd have no luck at all.

We finally make it back to the car and decide NOT to go back to the hotel. We needed fun and we needed it NOW! But first we needed water.

So we start driving down the strip. It's stop and go traffic. We are stopped.

Police start running through the crowd of people on the sidewalk. Police on bikes start riding through the cars. Police on horses start....well, I think you get the picture.

Traffic moves a little.

*Ladies and Gentleman, if you all look out of the right side of the tram you will see.....A DEAD BODY!*

Stay tuned for the next exciting episode of Bridezella and the Wedding ditchers....

to hell and back part II

So, when we last saw our hapless heros, they were wondering if a wedding was indeed going to take place the following day.

The wedding wasn't until 6:30, so we had the day to ourselves. There wasn't much discussion about the night before...with Bridezilla, but my mom, brother and Bossman and I had a good laugh about the whole thing. Since nobody recieved the call saying the wedding was off, we assumed all was right with the world.

Since I didn't have to be at Bridezilla's hotel room until 4, we spent the afternoon with the girls, going to rollercoasters and just having fun.

I showed up at Bridezillas hotel around 4:30. Bridezilla looked fabulous. She had a lady come in and do her hair and makeup. My mom was also looking hot with her makeup and hair done. I, on the other hand, was on baby duty. The little angel was in a good mood, but bored. I took him out and let him run down the hotel halls. He was dressed in a little white tux and he looked GORGEOUS! About 5:20 the groom called to say he was downstairs. He was picking up the little angel so he didn't have to go in the limo with us. Why the groom couldn't watch him while the girls were getting ready??? Who knows?

I took the little angel downstairs and you would have thought I was with a superstar! People were stopping and looking at him. There were comments galore and one couple even stopped to take a picture of him. It was very cute, but I was in a hurry and I couldn't find the meeting point. The Luxor (the hotel) is very large and since I never came in the front, I had no idea where the front was. After numerous calls back and forth to Bridezilla, along with chasing the little angel (who was eating up the attention and becoming quite a ham) I finally found the groom and handed him the little angel. As I walked the mile (or so it seemed) back to the hotel room, I realized that the limo would be there soon. As soon as I made it back up, Bridezilla was in full panic mode and rushing around saying we were late. I assured her that the limo wasn't leaving without us...DUH, she's the bride.

Still, we ran through the casino and hotel (once again) and found the limo. Once in the limo, we laughed and I told everyone about my escapade with the little angel.

Soon we made it to the wedding chapel. It doesn't LOOK like a wedding chapel. It looks like a store in a mini shopping center, but whatev....(my daughter has gotten me to say whatev instead of whatever....)

After making sure the groom wasn't going to see the bride...(yes we must stick with tradition, even if they have already been living together for 2 years and have a baby and this is their second marriage. *cue the eye roll*) we got out of the limo and headed inside. Once inside we encountered the wedding nazi.

The wedding nazi was this rude woman that was bossy and pushy and almost had Bridezilla in tears before the wedding even started. The wildchild was singing and had a question and the woman almost bit her head off. My mother finally had to tell the woman to CHILL out!

The wedding went off without a hitch, other than the wedding nazi. My daughter did an amazing job with the song and Bridezilla and the groom cried. It was short and sweet. The best part of the entire trip.

So, what happens after the wedding? Will Bridezilla cry again? Will the baby get fed? Will there be partying in Vegas? How many miles did we walk that night?

Stay tuned for the next exciting episode......

to hell and back

We made it back from Vegas.

I could tell you how much fun we had but.....

there wasn't much fun.

I could tell you how much food I ate but......

I was too stressed to eat.

I could tell you that I partied all night and slept all day but....

although I was up all night both nights, there was no party and no sleep the next day.

So, what DID happen in Vegas?

Glad you asked.

Everything was fine until Friday night. The boys....Bossman, the groom, my brother and his friend and the grooms 25yr old son.....were suppose to take the groom out for night on the town. My hubby is not really a party guy and had never been in a strip club, so he was excited to join in the fun.

They left around 9. Since the little man didn't come with us, the wildchild brought a friend. I took the girls and we went walking around the strip. They went on a roller coaster in the New York, New York and we had a great time.

I wasn't expecting Bossman to come in early. The girls and I returned to our hotel room around 11. I was tired from the long day. The girls were not. (surprise surprise) I fell asleep. While I was snoozing, my phone rang. My daughter anwered the phone. It was my sister, the bride. For purposes of this post, we shall call her BRIDEZILLA! So, bridezilla wanted to talk to my hubby. Bossman wasn't back yet. I would say it was about 12:45am when this call came in. Because I was asleep, the wildchild called her dad. He didn't answer his phone at first, but he did call back a few minutes later. The wilchild told him the bridezilla was looking for him. He said he was in the elevator and would be right up.

Soon as he opened the door, I woke up. By this time, it's 1am. Bossman says they lost the groom. Apparently bridezilla called because the son of the groom showed up at her hotel...which by the way, is about 15 minutes from our hotel. How he managed to get to his hotel before the boys got back to ours, I don't know.

I should mention at this point that Bossman and my brother and his friend were all staying in the same hotel. Bridezilla was staying in the other one that is 15 minutes from us.

So, Bossman calls bridezilla back. She's hysterical crying. Her soon to be husband is missing.

Here is the story that Bossman tells bridezilla.

They all went downtown to Fremont street. There was lots of bands and everyone was drinking and having a great time. They found a strip club. Apparently the groom didn't want to go into the strip club. Bossman and my brother each gave the groom 20bucks to gamble while the rest went into the strip club.

While Bossman and my brother and friend were in the strip club, the son shows up. He asks the boys to text the groom and tell him that he is with them. They do that, but apparently the groom has given them the wrong phone number. Actually, he gave them random numbers...I think the man had a little too much to drink.

After about 45 minutes, the son disappeared. He didn't say goodbye, he just disappeared. The boys assumed he went to find his dad. So, they went out to look for the groom and his son.

Couldn't find them. Disappeared.

After searching Fremont for awhile, they decided to head back to the hotel.

So, to recap...

The son disappeared but ended up at the hotel. So apparently HE couldn't find his dad. Bossman and my brother couldn't find the groom so they went back to the hotel. The groom? Who knows WHAT the groom was doing.

So bridezilla hysterically tells Bossman that she will call if the wedding is off and then she hangs up.

So, we don't know what else to do at this point, so we...go to bed.....

At 3:30 am....2 hours later....I get a text saying "He back."

So, where was the groom?

He claims he was waiting for them to come back from the strip club. Uh, why would anyone wait 2 hours?

Bridezilla says that the boys just ditched him. Why would they ditch him? He was happy to play the slots and they were happy to go to the strip club. They were all in the same building. If Bossman ditched the groom then why is it that the SON couldn't find his father either, and how did he end up at his hotel, which is farther than ours before Bossman??????

These are the questions that may never get answered.

In the next episode of to hell and back:

Will Bridezilla get married?

Will I ever get some sleep?

What happens when you don't feed your baby?

How many miles did I walk through casinos without getting a drink?

How many times did Bridezilla cry this weekend, in a bad way?

stay tuned...........

Don't miss me too much!

Ok, it's about 7:30 here in my neck of the woods. I'm should be getting the little man ready for school. As soon as he is ready, we will drop in at school and then....

ROAD TRIP!

Seven long hours until we reach Vegas! Wish me luck.....

*don't worry, the little man is staying with friends while we take this journey. He couldn't bear the thought of missing his football game. Did you REALLY think I would leave him home alone???????

life

*This should have posted on Saturday....Don't know what happened, but here it is again!*

I'm still alive!

My mojo is still gone for writing, but I feel the pull back to reading blogs and such, so I'm sure I'll be up to writing in no time.

In the meantime, I thought I would fill you in on a few things.

D is NOT good. The treatment didn't work, there are new tumors and now, they have found some in her lungs. ~sigh~ She goes on the 20th to find out what sort of chemo she will be getting on. I guess I have nothing more to say on it other than PLEASE keep her in your thoughts and prayers.

We are heading to Vegas next Friday. My sister is getting married and frankly she is driving me NUTS! It's her second marriage, she's been living with her fiance for over a year AND they have a baby together. (the little angel, my godson) So....when she tells me things like..."can you take the baby, we need a honeymoon" and I say, "Uh, the baby, he IS your honeymoon." Well, see, it just gets me in trouble! Furthermore, she's upset because no one has given her a bridal shower or a bachlorette party. PLEASE! I'm not throwing her a party...I'm already spending a ton of money to go to Vegas...SHEEZ! Oh well, Vegas will be fun anyway!

So, what do I get for a gift? I have no idea! Any suggestions?

We haven't spoken to the MIL since July. I found a website where she posted her life story and it's amazing how different it is from real life. Apparently she's been living in a dual universe. The sad news is D isn't speaking to her either, and frankly it's hard to go through cancer without your mother! I don't even think my MIL knows how bad it is. Sad, isn't it?

I will say though, we are all happy without the drama!

Only 2 more football games to go! We have 4 wins and 2 loses. If we win the last 2 games we will make the playoffs. Go Team!

I finished the last Harry Potter book. ~sigh~ I am in LOVE with Harry. I can't believe it's over. This is definitely a series that I will read again! If there are any of you out there that haven't read these books, you are missing OUT!

Well, so much for not having much to write. Hopefully I'll have a lot of interesting things to write about when I get back from Vegas!

So, what have YOU been up too? Anything I missed out on? Anything you'd like to share with the group?

You know you have to register, right?

I still don't know who to vote for....BUT...I know I WILL VOTE!

Please...vote with me.
