I would say this day is a success!
This week has been good. Along with the cleaning, I've been getting out of the house more. Did you know that there are people out there....in the world? And they are doing stuff! They are on the roads and in the stores. They are everywhere! It's nice to be in the land of the living again!
Guess what I got for my birthday. I know, my birthday was a long time ago but still...guess!
If you said Ipad, you would be correct!
Can I just tell you how much I LOVE my Ipad? Well, I'm going to tell you anyway.
It's so nice to have the internet at the touch of a button. I don't have to wait for it to boot up or anything. One click of the button and I'm on the internet. Love it!
I don't really like typing on it, it's sort of like texting...I'm not good at the texting. And you can't do anything that requires flash....but man...I do like my Ipad!
I'm wondering if anybody else has an ipad. Are there apps that I should have? I only have a few games on it and I feel like I'm not using it to it's full potential. So, is there anything else I should know about the ipad?
While I'm at it.....what about links? I'm curious to know what your favorite NON-spanking links are. What are your favorite websites? Actually, I wouldn't mind knowing what your favorite spanking websites are also.
So fill me in, what am I missing out on this great thing called the internet?

I also love, love, love my iPad. I watch instant Netflix on it, I do genealogy on it, I have the Goodreader app for documents, ToDo for my to-do list. I have the Kindle app and Stanza app for books. I have tons more but I won't go on and on - which I usually do when someone asks about my iPad. Have Fun!

ReplyDeleteA dear friend has an iPad, and love, loves, loves it! She's hooked on a scrabble game you can play with your friends. I'll see if I can find out the name of it for you, and she also uses it for books, and entertaining her little ones.

ps... yep, there are people out there, and they're doing some really interesting things. Took me a while to figure it out myself, but now that I'm amongst the 'out of the house people' I'm having a great time!

I use K's ipad sometimes. I don't like typing on it either...takes some getting used to. Have you ever tried sporcle.com? Or deadwhale.com....two of my favorite time killers

We have an iPad. I love the convenience. We keep it in whatever room we are in and Ron has 8 different weather apps. I have Mah Jong, Spider, and Pirate's Jewels for fun. Ron uses the email feature, and I log on to Yahoo mail with it. It's also useful for on the spot lookups of just about anything.
ReplyDeleteNow the downside.I hate the keyboard, and there's no way you can backspace or go back to fix errors in an email. I also hate not having menu options. I am NOT an Apple person, so all that tapping on the glass is annoying. Somebody give me a mouse and a scrollbar! Contrary to popular belief, it is NOT intuitive. I found it hard to get used to.

Meow...I have some of the apps you mentioned but not all, I'll be looking into those. And you can go on and on to me because I love it and I'm interested in what other apps there are that I'm missing out on.

Ceeci, I have the word game, it's called words with friends. LOVE it. But I mostly play Bossman or my daughter. I need to find more friends! The world is a wonderful place, but I am finding that sometimes those people that are out there can get a little annoying if out there too long...LOL
Tracy, I play farmville on it but it's not that great. Not all your farm shows up so it's only really good for harvesting your crops. I did send you a gift from the app...LOL

Florida, I have a android for a phone and I do like that on the android most of the apps are free. One thing that is annoying on the ipad is you have to pay for just about every cool app.
Hermione, I agree with the typing but I do have a backspace button on email. I don't like that I can't check my junk mail file as some emails to go into that file and I like to check it once in a while. I LOVE the touch screen though. To each his own!
