Extra BIG HUGS on an EXTRA SPECIAL DAY!!!
Love ya,
grace

Everyone else should stop by Theresa's and wish her a Happy DAY!

what should I do?

Ok, so I mentioned in my last post that my father had a heart attack.

This is a touchy subject for me. Lets just say, I have issues with my father.

Long story short, my father left my mother when I was 5. He was not a very nice man, at the time. He spent some time in prison and was an alcoholic. Not a very pretty story, but that is how it was.

When I was 22, my sister (who is 4 years younger) decided to contact our father. He hadn't contacted us since he left my mother. My sister (bless her soul) thought this would be a great surprise to me so she didn't tell me what she was doing. She simply contacted him and gave him my number, WITHOUT telling me. So, I'm 22, pregnant with the wildchild and getting ready to go out to dinner with Bossman. Phone rings, I answer. "May I speak to Grace?" the voice on the other end asks. Not recognizing the voice I ask who it is. "This is your father." Yeah right. "Who is this, really" I ask the voice. "This is really your father" the voice says.

Huh. First thing I want to know is, how did he get my number? Of course he tells me he got it from my sister. WHAT the hell? How could she do something like that without telling me?

Anyway, after my daughter was born, he decided to come and visit us. Mind you, I haven't seen the man since I was 5. My daughter is about 4 weeks old when he comes to visit. So, now I have to entertain a man that I don't know, who claims to be my father, but I also am a young, new mommy, hormonal and everything. Lets just say, that visit didn't go so well.

Since that time, we've been keeping in contact through phone and letters. He sends cards to the kids for birthdays and holidays but we haven't seen each other since.

The biggest problem I have is that he makes me feel guilty. See, I don't feel the need to send him birthday cards and fathers day cards. He didn't seem to find that a priority when I was a kid. Besides we are all adults now. Furthermore, he's not really a father to me. So the fathers day thing is a mote point.

So, how am I suppose to feel when he has a heart attack?

He leaves in Chicago. That is really far from me. So I can't just go over and visit him.

Here's my problem. I always thought he would just "be there" when I was ready to confront the whole thing. Now, who knows how long he could be around?

He's doing ok right now. He's probably going to get out of the hospital today or tomorrow. So, I guess this means I still have time.

Time for what? What do I do? Should I go and visit him? What happens if he dies, should I be at the funeral? How will I feel when he dies? Will I have regret? Will I always feel like I should have done more?

I should mention that he has reformed. He has been in AA for 20 years.

He has tried. I'll give him that. But I can't decide how I'm suppose to feel. I don't know what I should do.

Right now, if everything goes ok, I've told Bossman I would like to see about visiting him in August. I've said that, but I don't even know if that is what I want to do.

I really just don't know what to do.

Update on life

I thought I would update you on my life.

Life, as it does, continues to move forward, even when you don't want it to. Sometimes there is a moment in life when you think, how can people still be living right now? How can life go on?

After the horrible shooting last week, I often thought that. I thought about the families that lost loved ones and I wondered, how can I be going to the store, buying milk and butter when they have lost their child? How can I be worrying about paying the gas bill while these people are worrying about burying their loved one?

It's hard. It's hard to realize that life does go on, even after bad things happen.

Anyway, even though I wondered about life moving on, it did, in fact, move on for us here in Graceland.

The wildchild is doing EXTREMELY well in independent study! She has already completed 3 of the classes she needed and she only has 2 more to finish before school ends. Her self-esteem has shot through the roof and she no longer feels like a failure.

She is in a play at school right now. Luckily, she is still able to participate in choir and drama while being on the independent study. So the play opened last weekend and will finish up this weekend. It is like a melodrama. She has the lead part. She is the evil Nurse Hatchett. She's fabulous!!!! Of course I'm partial to anyone that came out of my womb.

Last week, we had a garage sale. We sold lots of junk. Then I spent all the money at a garage sale for a new bed for my daughter. In case you didn't know this about me, I'm a garage sale junkie. I LOVE going to garage sales!

Did I mention that my sister is about to give birth. A new nephew is on the way. I can't wait for the new baby. I love when people in my family have new babies, it means I can get my fill of a newborn and yet, still get to sleep at night.

My father had a heart attack last week. More on that in a couple of days.

Two weeks ago, we bought a new car. It's used, but it's new to us. It's only 2 years old and it has less than 20,000 miles on it. I LOVE, love, triple love this car. Our other car is 11 years old. We bought the car used and we got it when my little man was only 9 months old. He's almost 9 now. So you can probably guess, getting a new vehicle was a must. Not only that, but here in California, you have to get your car smog checked every 2 years. This was the year our car decided not to pass smog. Since it wouldn't pass, we couldn't register it. So we spend 400 dollars to fix it. Didn't work. STUPID laws! We took it to a referee. Yes, they have smog refs here. Our car just barely wasn't passing. The rules say, you have to spend at least 400 to fix it, and if it still doesn't pass, they will give you a pass. BUT, you have to get it fixed by a smog certified mechanic. Our mechanic is a very good mechanic, but guess what, he's NOT smog certified. So our reciepts didn't count toward the 400. SO, the problem is now the muffler. It will cost 600 dollars to fix it. BUT before we can take it to the muffler shop, we have to take it to the smog certified mechanic, pay them 100 bucks to tell us what is wrong with it, even though we already KNOW what is wrong with it, then we can take it to the muffler shop. THEN if it doesn't pass, THEN they will give us the pass.

DEEP BREATHE! By the time we did all that, we would have spent around 800 dollars, including all the fees and such. Rather than pay for all that, we decided to put that money into a new car.

Now, I just need to win the lotto so we can pay for the car. That, or I could stand out on the street corner and sell my body to make the car payments. Although I think I have a better chance of making money with the lotto.

Ok, if you are still reading this.... WHY??? This really is boring.

Anyway, I bet you are all wondering...did I ever call my blog friend?

I did!

Actually, I called two of them. Can you guess who they are?

Yep, I called the twins! Elis and Eva!

I'm here to tell you, Elis DOES have an accent. It's the cutest thing you ever did here. Sure enough!

It wasn't weird at all. It was really fun, and I'm looking forward to talking to both of them again, and again and again.

I LOVE you guys!!!

So, there you have it. There is my life in a nutshell. I didn't mention Bossman or the little man, but they are both doing fine as well.

If you are STILL reading this..... I really should send you an award. Really, I should.

getting real

This was the last comment made on my last post. Guess who wrote it?

My only comment is your first paragraph you asked for people to still think of you as a good person. I ponder how when you first started this blog you just wrote random thoughts without caring what people thought of you. Even though we communicate 110% I kinda wish I had a place to read your inner-unedited thoughts about stuff. You've got an awesome group of friends, just realize that I and I'm sure your friends will appreciate you no matter what you say. Love ya Babe!!

Interesting thought from an interesting reader. (I've heard he's quite handsome too!)

Anyway, he's right. I DO have an awesome group of friends! If you're reading this, you are one of them whether you comment or not.

As for the innermost unedited thoughts.....

Point taken!

So watch out, inner most thoughts are about to arrive.

I NEED spanking in my life.

Here's the deal. We haven't had much spanking in our relationship lately. Actually, I think I've only had 1 spanking since our anniversary.

At first I thought, that's ok. I don't mind. I didn't even think about it that much. I still read blogs and spanking things, but honestly, I wasn't that crushed that I wasn't participating. I really was ok with it.

Then....

On Monday, for some reason, Bossman and I ended up home alone. I honestly didn't even have spanking on my mind. I was busy doing something very important. (probably watching tv.) Bossman walks in and takes my hand. Now, when I'm sitting on my butt watching tv busy doing something important and Bossman grabs my hand like that, I KNOW what it means. I was really surprised.

So he took me into the bedroom with the pretense of spanking me because I forgot to take out the trash can on trash day after he asked me to do it. SORRY, I forgot! It really wasn't my fault. It usually isn't my job. He always does it. Furthermore, he was rushing out the door when he asked me. So, it was Super easy to forget. Not really a spank-worthy moment, if you ask me. But he decided to spank me that day.

Now, I have some thoughts about that.

I wasn't really prepared. I was under the impression that we were NOT really going to engage in the spanking part of our life for awhile, and I was ok with that. I am the type of person that likes to know what is going to happen. I like to plan things. I like to be in the KNOW. I want to know where I stand.

So I don't like things thrown at me unexpected. When he came to me and said "I'm going to spank you" I was thrown for a loop.

I guess this would fall under the category of consistancy. I don't want to be spanked for random things. I want to KNOW that spankings WILL happen if certain things aren't taken care of. I want to know that I am being held accountable. I don't want to be held accountable sometimes, I want ALL or nothing.

Ok, not true. I'll take sometimes. Sometimes is better than nothing.

But here is the biggest problem. After he spanked me that day, I couldn't help but wanting MORE. Suddenly my mind was consumed with spanking. I wanted to read everything I could about spanking, related to spanking. I was became obsessed. I went to blogs that I love, blogs that I hardly read, new blogs that I have been wanting to read, but haven't been in the mood for. (thanks Reesa)

So, what do I do with THAT? I really, really want spanking in my life. But spanking doesn't fit into our life right now. Once in awhile we may have time, but overall, it just doesn't seem that it will work very well.

I guess I just need to be happy with what I get. I don't know where to put my want or need. I don't know how to put it aside. I can put it aside short term, but I guess I can never really set it aside forever.

I guess it all boils down to this:

Once a spanko, always a spanko.

later.....

mission impossible

I hope this won't color the way you think of me. Usually, I'm a very honest and kind person. I try to teach my children right from wrong. I have morals and values.

So please, try not to judge me.

Saturday the fam came over. Now if you've read my blog for any length of time, you know that my mother-in-law is a quack. She is one taco short of a combination plate. She is NOT the sharpest knife in the drawer. She is the dullest tool in the shed. She has completely lost all of her marbles. How my amazing wonderful husband came out of this woman still baffles my mind. Sometimes I wonder...was there a baby switch?

Anyway, I guess you are probably realizing that my MIL came over to my house on Saturday. (very smart of you) We had a fun time, looking at old pictures, being very silly. (my SIL came over too, and she is LOADS of fun.)

At one point of the day, things were crazy. People were laughing, joking, just having a ball. I noticed that my MIL was putting a box in her purse. The box, was some coffee that she had given my daughter in November, when my daughter got a coffee maker for her birthday. Now, just so you know, my daughter hasn't made coffee for a long time, and nobody else drinks coffee around here, so the coffee maker and different coffees are all sitting on the counter. During lunch, the MIL had asked if she could make a pot of coffee. No problem, go right ahead.

Back to the story. I saw my MIL putting this box of coffee in her purse. Now remember, the place was crazy, so when I saw her putting the coffee in her purse, I didn't really question it. I figured she has asked my daughter if she could have it back since my daughter didn't drink it.

Now fast forward to Easter morning. We get up, we sort through our baskets that the Easter bunny had left. (yum yum) We search the house for the eggs that the Easter bunny had hidden through out the house. Then we eat breakfast. Mind you, it's just my little family, the kids and Bossman. As we sit down to breakfast, I remember the coffee. I ask my daughter if she gave the coffee to her grandma. Nope, she didn't. Didn't even know Grandma took the coffee. Asked Bossman the same thing...nope, he didn't either. So I tell them what I saw the day before. MIL sneaking coffee into her purse.

Well, we all start laughing. We can't believe that MIL, stole coffee from us. Has she asked any one of us, we would have gladly given it to her, for the wildchild hasn't been drinking coffee.

So suddenly, an idea forms. Guess who we were going to eat Easter dinner with? MIL. Guess whose house we were going to be going to? Again...MIL. So, while sitting around the breakfast table we decide we are going to steal it back.

That's right people. Bossman and I decided that we should teach our children petty thievery. In case things don't work out well for them in traditional careers, we wanted them to have something to fall back on. Aren't we GREAT parents?

So around the table we start planning our strategy. We come up with funny hand signals. Everyone has an assignment. Little man is going to distract grandpa. Wildchild has the biggest purse, so she is going to do the actual stealing. The little man told me that I could sit on the couch and pretend to watch TV. OH-my-goodness. We laughed sooo hard when he told me that. I had to pretend to watch TV. Aren't we the sneaky ones?

Anyway, the code words were... The Kittles has meowed. (Kittles is our cat.) Once we heard those words, we knew that the deed had been done. All we needed was the mission impossible song going in the back ground.

We had the best time planning that mission. We all laughed so hard we could barely keep the food in our mouths.

So, bet you are wondering, did the plan work? Yes, it worked. I pretended to watch TV, the little man distracted his grandpa, and while the MIL went into the bathroom, the wildchild took back the coffee.

So there you have it. It was probably one of the best Easters we have had. Oh, and I wasn't sick. So that made it even better!

Yes, I know, I'm a horrible parent. Teaching children to steal from their own grandparents. Someone should call the authorities right away!

But in the end, she stole from us. And anyway you slice it, that was just WRONG. So we weren't ACTUALLY stealing, we were just taking back what was rightfully ours to begin with. The NERVE of some people!

Now I'm just waiting until she finds it missing. Will she be bold enough to call us on it? Next time she comes over, I'm thinking of taking it out and asking her if she wants it because we don't drink it....LOL.

Well, watch your purses and pockets while you visit. You never know what our NEXT mission will be.

MMMMMAAAAWWWWWHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

later...

Happy Easter!

Whatever your religion, whatever your beliefs, I hope you all have a wonderful holiday with your family and friends.

That, and I hope the Easter bunny is VERY good to you.

Oh, and don't try and tell me the Easter bunny is not real.

I won't believe you.

He brings eggs and candy.

Don't question the power of the BUNNY!

HUGS!

waiting...

Don't you ever feel like your waiting for something to happen? Life is just humming along at a pretty good clip, but in the back of your mind you're waiting for something to happen.

I don't even know what it is I'm waiting for. Am I waiting to win the lotto? That will take awhile since I don't even play. Am I waiting for the kids to be grown? What then? Bossman and I will sit around staring at each other. What EXACTLY am I waiting for?

Don't you ever think in your mind, when I lose weight, THEN I can do this? Or when I get that raise at work, THEN I can to that? Why is it I'm always waiting for something else to happen?

Seems like I'm waiting, waiting, waiting, and then suddenly, I look around and think, where did the time go?

Bossman and I had a long talk last night. We talked about the lack of d/d. We both realized that it just isn't fitting into our lives at the moment. This doesn't mean we are going to eliminate spanking, but it's just not a top priority right now.

It's weird. Last time we went through this, I was devastated. I thought life as I knew it was over. I didn't think I could ever be happy without d/d in my life. I really didn't think we would ever be the same. I totally panicked. I freaked out.

This time...not so much. Of course I wish I could make things different. I wish I could make my life just like the so-called perfect ones I read about online. So, maybe this is what I've been waiting for. Perhaps, I'm waiting for my life to suddenly be perfect. Surely I'm going to wake up one day and everything will be exactly the way I always dreamed it would be.

I guess that isn't going to happen. But you know what, I'm not so devastated about the d/d thing. I think it's because I know it's not dead forever. Bossman even said that he missed it too. So, I know it's still there. When it happens, it happens. I can't sit around waiting for it. I can't pine away for something like that. If I do, I'm missing out on the good things in life.

For instance, we had the hottest sex EVER last night. Maybe it was all the talk about d/d. Maybe it was the Nora Roberts novel I was reading..hot hot hot. Whatever it was, boy did we connect. And connect. And connect. Thank goodness I didn't sit around waiting for THAT to show up. I would have missed out on something wonderful.

Comparing my life to something I read or think about will never work. Life doesn't work that way. I realized I can't force my husband to act like the husbands in those stories. Funny, but I don't even think I would force him, if I could. If I did that, he wouldn't be the man he is. He wouldn't be himself. I want him to be HIMSELF. If he WANTS the d/d thing, great, but I can't and won't force it on him. It would never be good that way. It would be forced and not natural.

Now, I have to stop myself from waiting. I need to live my life in the here and now. I need to enjoy my children and enjoy my husband. I need to stop waiting for the happily ever after. I want to live the happily right now!

later......

the truth is...

The truth of the matter is, d/d is not working for us.

As much as I would like for my relationship to work on a d/d level. It ain't happening.

Maybe it's a time factor. Maybe it is a willingness factor. Maybe the kids get in the way. Maybe, maybe, maybe.

I can make excuses all I want, but the truth is, it just isn't working. I want it to work. I WANT that relationship. You know the one I'm talking about. Consequences, results, spankings, control, love, tenderness, honesty, trust....all those things.

So, I ask myself, why isn't it working? What is the main reason for this lack in our life?

Of course, all the things I mentioned above are true. We have kids and a very small house. We have life obligations that make fitting d/d into our life pretty impossible right now. I have health issues that have made being in the mood much harder than usual. You would think that if we truly wanted it to work, we could make it happen.

This leads me to believe that we are not meant to have this type of relationship right now. Maybe someday...maybe, but now doesn't seem to be the right time.

Now I'm wondering about the molds we try and fit ourselves into. Amber and I were recently e-mailing each other. She mentioned in my comments that she was a little jealous of the fact that I had people I could talk to about the common interest of spanking. She and her husband are not into d/d. They tried it. It didn't fit into their life. BUT, if you read Ambers blog at all, you find that she is very submissive. They have a relationship that doesn't exactly fit into any of your typical submissive molds. They are not into BDSM. They are not into spanking, they are not into d/d and they are not into d/s. So, what mold do they fit in? I think they are making their own mold.

So, after thinking about that for a while I started thinking of my own mold. Where do I fit in?

I've begun to think that I don't fit into the mold that I created anymore. I may have to recreate myself. I go around reading spanking blogs and although I enjoy the stories, I feel like I have nothing to say, or comment about. I don't relate to BDSM blogs. So, where do I fit in?

Bossman is still very dominate. He is still the head of our house. He is still loving and caring and all those things. That part is not lacking. I still have the best husband ever. Spanking just seems very far removed from our relationship right now.

Well, I don't have any answers. As a matter of fact, after reading this post, I realize it's just a ramble about nothing.

Oh well, it's my blog. I can write whatever I want. Usually I write whatever is floating in my brain. So, welcome to my brain. Scary, isn't it?

Anybody got a mold I can use?

Dear Blog,

cute myspace layout

Can you believe we've been together for 3 years? It seems like only yesterday, when I wrote those first tentitive words. I really had no idea what I was going to write about during those first months. See, I've always kept a written journal of my life, so I thought typing it out on the computer would be fun.

After a few months of blogging, things started getting personal between us. I told you things that were very private to me. Blog, you've always been here for me. You've seen me through the good, the bad, and the ugly.

I am so grateful to you, my dear Blog. You have given me a lot of joy and pleasure. You have helped me to better communicate with my husband. You've opened the door to endless possibilies and you've introduced me to a bunch of really great friends.

So, here's to 3 great years, my dear Blog. May we continue to grow and learn together. May we always be kind to one another. May we never run out of things to say to one another. May you never get deleted or spammed.

Love always ♥
grace

Lookie what I did!!

Ok, I didn't make the actual template. But isn't it PRETTY??

I loved it soooo much, but it had a different title and I couldn't figure out how to get MY title on the page.

Basically, I have spent HOURS making this my own. I still can't figure out how to put my counters back on, but oh well, I'll save that for later.

You don't KNOW how excited I am that I figured this much out. I ALMOST resorted to e-mailing Ceeci. (by the way, go by her place and check out her new website for some REAL cool computer stuff.)Anyway, I figured it out all by myself!

So I hope you all like it, because I REALLY like it. That, and I don't think I'll be doing anything like this for a LONG time. So get used to it!

HUGS to all

mind wanderings...

So, I'm on my way to pick up my son from school. I'm listening to the radio. Of course it's country music. A song called, "There is no Arizona" comes on the radio. I immediately think of Todd and Suzy.. Doesn't everyone think of them when thinking of Arizona?

Anyway, as I was thinking of them, my mind wandered to something they mentioned in a post a while back. Can't remember exactly what the post was about, but the part I remember mostly is them talking about finding a spanking partner. I believe they mentioned that they had looked or were looking for someone to talk about spanking with, or meet...something like that. Now, I would go back and look for that post, but that would require me to actually work, and I'm way to tired for that, plus I'm trying to show you my train of thought.

Suddenly I was thinking about what it would be like to actually talk, real life talk, about spanking. As I was pulling up to the school and waved to some of the mothers and such, I wondered what it would be like to have a friend that you could actually talk about spanking with. I mean, face to face spanking talk. This led me to think about the fact that I've NEVER told another living soul about spanking in my life, except, of course, Bossman. Talking to Bossman about spanking has become easier, but it's still hard to look him in the face when talking about it. In fact, the only other people that I talk to about spanking are on this site. And I don't have to look any of you in the face when discussing spanking.

In some ways, I think it would be great to have someone to talk with about this stuff. In other ways I don't know that I could actually do it. I have a really GREAT friend. I tell her everything. We talk sex, we talk about our kids, we talk about everything and anything. BUT, I would NEVER, EVER tell her about the spanking. I just couldn't. I'm not even sure how she would take it. I couldn't risk my friendship over this. So I will never tell her.

That brings me to the next thing that popped into my head. I started thinking about the rest of you. I wondered what it would REALLY be like if we could all get together. Would we all be shy? Would we immediately start talking about spanking? Would we find other things that we have in common?

That brought me to thinking about my REALLY good blogging friends. I won't name names, but there are a small few of you that I actually e-mail. I keep in touch with. I tell you things that I may not have said in a blog. I have told you my problems, my fears, and other things. We've talked about lots of other things and most of the time it's not about spanking at all. I may have even exchanged a picture or two with these few people.

Then I started thinking about one of my dear blogging friends. One of the few that I shared pictures and such with. Now I'm not one to share personal stuff with people I don't know. I am extremely cautious when it comes to that. I know I lay it all out on this blog. But I try to keep it private. I try not to let out our identities. I don't want anyone in the "real world" to find out what I'm talking about. Oh sure, it's not even that bad. I'm sure nothing would happen if someone did find it, but it never hurts to be cautious.

So, back to this blogging friend. A couple of weeks ago she gave me her phone number. Now, I trust this person. I've told her things that I would tell my best friends in real life. But I haven't called her yet.

As I sat in the car, waiting for my son, I wondered if I should give this friend a call. Curiosity killed the cat, and it is killing me. I would love to call but I haven't because I just don't know what I would say.

Which brings me back to Arizona. Not really, just thought I would throw that in. But it does bring me back to wondering how we would all be like if we really met. I feel like I would be too shy to even look any of you in the eye. I've shared so much of my inner most personal feelings on this blog. You would know things about me that my "real life" people wouldn't know. Would talking to you all in real-life be awkward?

Well after pondering all those thoughts, my son got in the car. My mind shifted gears as I talked to him about his day. But part of me was still pondering all this as the rest of the day progressed. Usually the song sticks in my head all day, this time, it was what the song made me think of that stuck.

So here I am, telling all of you what I thought about today. Some of you may have met or talked in person over the phone. So tell me, how was it? Was it weird? Did you have anything to talk about?

Tell me your experiences with this. I know you all will have great insight for me.

You always do! :)

later......

reconnection...at last!

Despite the fact that you all decided to have a party without me, at my house no less, Bossman and I had a WONDERFUL weekend.

My Moms place is about 4 hours from here. It's in the desert, but it has a lot of trees, and lucky for us, it's NOT the hot season. We left around 3 on Friday and arrived around 7:30 that evening. We did hit a little Friday night traffic, as we have to go throught the Los Angeles area, but it wasn't terrible. Besides we were in NO hurry to get anywhere.

When we finally arrived we took some time to get aquainted with the place. It had been about a year since we had been there, and my Mom had moved things around. We got situated and then we were just happy to sit and watch some TV for awhile.

We didn't really think much about sex or spanking. We were tired from the trip and I think we ended up going to bed about 11.

The next morning, I woke up HORNY. Now people, this is NOT normal for me. Neither is the fact that it was only 6 in the morning. I didn't even know that 6 in the morning existed. I am usually NOT a morning person, but you know how it is when you are sleeping in a strange place? You don't get much sleep, especially the first night. So I just laid there enjoying the sounds of the morning. The sun was already shining and the birds were out in full force. Finally, Bossman turned over to me and started cuddling. Since I knew he was awake, I reached around and started fondling him. Well, I guess you know what happened next. There was ALOT of cuddling and orgasms all around!!!

Afterward we got up to take a shower. Now, I took a shower first, and then when Bossman was in the shower, I was getting ready for the day. We were discussing the day when I mentioned it was only about 6:30. Bossman was SHOCKED. What the HECK am I doing up at 6:30 on a Saturday morning?? I started cracking up.

Oh well, nothing like getting an early start on the day.

Well, I won't bore you with all the stuff we did during the day. I'll just tell you this, my husband loves trains. So we spent alot of time looking at trains. I saw a beautiful owl in a nest with her baby. (see pictures at end of post) We also went to a western ghost town, and then we headed to the mountains to Big Bear lake. Lots of fun and we are planning another trip with the kids during spring break.

Anyway, after a fun-filled first day we were tired when we got back. We curled up on the sofa to watch movies. We sat on the porch and talked. Bossman sat on the porch and played the guitar. All in all, it was wonderful.

That night, we were tired, but it was still early. We were watching TV when Bossman finally decided I needed a spanking. I wondered when this time would come. I hadn't made much mention of it, but he did pack the BS and you all KNOW how much I hate that thing.

After a quick disrobing, he placed me over his lap. He started out fairly soft. Nice stingy slaps that didn't really hurt, just felt really good. He tried to find the BS, but couldn't find it, and didn't feel like making me get off his lap, so he just used his hand. After a nice long warm up, the spanking picked up speed and force. OUCH. He really heated up my bottom nice. It really hurt.

I'd like to say that this is where we got all sexy and things heated up in the bedroom. Yes, that is what I'd LIKE to say. But things didn't really end up that way. We were really tired, the kids called and goodnights and I-miss-yous had to be said. But the good news is, my bottom was REALLY sore. And pretty much sore the next day. Don't you just love a sore bottom the next day? It really makes things heated all day, if you know what I mean.

So, since there wasn't any sex action the night before, when I woke up the next day, I was feeling horny...AGAIN. Two mornings in a row, that is quite surprising for me. This time we enjoyed each others touch. We tried different positions. By the way, I do NOT bend like Gumby. My legs were not very happy the next day. Good lord, I used muscles I forgot I had. I just don't bend the way I used to.

After more bedroom fun, we headed out for another day of adventure. We got home by mid afternoon, and I was BEAT. We started watching some more movies but I fell asleep. After a nice afternoon nap, we enjoyed a beautiful desert sunset and watched some TV. Again, wasn't thinking too much about spanking, but apparently Bossman was because he put me over his knee again. This time he had the BS out. This time he wanted to discuss our relationship. He discussed taking control back in the relationship. Actually, he discussed alot of things, but really guys, if you want to discuss something with us, don't expect us to retain alot of information while your whaling on our behinds. It's REALLY hard to concentrate that way. Trust me on this one. After that wonderful conversation my butt was VERY sore. We laid on the bed together and got busy making other parts hot and bothered. YUM YUM.

Anyway, that is how the trip went. We really reconnected and we celebrated 18 years married.

Oh yeah, I also realized how clean everything stays when there are no kids around!!!
Now, enjoy some of the sites from my trip!

Lots of trains, but guess what else on this bridge caught my eye......

Whoooo's that in the nest?

Momma Owl! And whooooo's peaking out from behind her?

Cutest little baby owl I ever saw!!!

This is the little school house in the ghost town. Pretty cute, but no signs of ghosts!

This is the road we were on, it just keeps going....

and going.....

and going.....

Anyway, once we got up the mountain, couldn't figure out what the Village People were doing there. I was ready to sing YMCA with them.

And this is the view from the mountain top.

The perfect end to the perfect day!

later........

down, but not out!

If you're looking for a post on my trip, sorry to disappoint. I just have so much on my mind, it's hard to concentrate enough to paint a vivid picture of it. I promise I will get to it soon.

Ever since I got sick during the holidays, I have been overly paranoid about getting sick. I don't feel I'm turning into a hypocondriac, but I am constantly waiting for something bad to happen to me again.

Don't get me wrong. I've been feeling fine. But a couple of weeks ago I went for a routine examine and because my blood pressure was high, we decided I should take meds for it. Since then, I've been checking my BP regularly at the store and it seems to be running normal. Good for me. But my heart rate seems a little high, right around 100, which apparently is normal, but anything above that, at a resting rate, could be bad. Still, I can't help but worry about it.

This is very troubling for me. Although I am a worrier by nature, I've NEVER been a worrier about my health. I've always been very healthy, nothing more than a cold. I had strep a couple of years ago, but again, I got healthy very quickly.

Now I think I was slapped in the face by my own mortality. Even though I'm only 38, I have finally hit that place in my life where I realize I'm not going to live forever. I've always known that, but now it's actually been placed in front of me. I've never been afraid of dying. I have always been the one to say when my times comes, my time comes.

Does this mean that I am now afraid of dying? I don't think I am. But I am afraid of getting an illness and being sick for a long period of time. I am afraid of putting my family through stress and anguish over me.

If I could go back a few months, I would. I often think of that wonderful day in Novemeber. The day before I got sick. We had such a great day. It was warm and sunny. We took the kids down to the high school and played tennis. My daughter and I went down into the football stadium and pretended to make touchdowns on the football field. We did cartwheels, and raced each other. We were alone on the field, and it was sooooo much fun. I didn't have a care in the world that day. I didn't know it at the time but it was one of the best days I ever had. Had I known that back then, I would have appreciated it more.

How do you do it? How do you keep moving foward when you're afaid something bad will happen to you? How do you let go of the paranoia? I know some of you have had worse medical things than I, so tell me, am I the only one? How do you cope with this? How do you move on?

Well, I may never get the answers, but I will keep plugging along. One thing I have learned is, life is way too short. I may be down, but I'm not out. I have had some good moments, and I hardly worried about it at all on our trip, so I know things will get better for me.

Sorry this is not a post about spanking and sex. That did happen this weekend and I have started writing about it. It will be finished soon, I promise!

HUGS to you all,
later.........

After viewing the tape.....

We had a great time on our trip. I was going to give all you Detail Whores a rundown of our time, complete with pictures of where we went. BUT, when I got home, there were some wierd things that I needed to check out. So Bossman and I viewed the tape!

Let me show you what I found on the tape. I THINK you'll be as surprised as I was!

When we first got home, I noticed this on the sidewalk:

Weird, why would there be a cheeto bag on the sidewalk? It must have blown out of the neighbors trash bin.

Then, I noticed this, by my door:

Once I got in the house, I checked my stash of cheetos, and this is what I found.
Now I knew for sure, someone had been into the cheetos!!!

Now, that coupled with the pink thongs, I was really worried that something had happened to my house. But I KNEW I had left my BEST friends EVER, in charge of the place, so I wasn't too terribly worried...yet.

Bossman and I decided to take a look at the video. I mean, if those darn neighbor kids were messing around with my cheetos, I wanted to know about it. Wouldn't YOU??

This is the upsetting part. As a matter of fact, I'm tearing up just trying to write this.

(Deep Breath) Ok, this is what I saw FIRST.

Now, I don't know what you think, but I THINK that looks JUST like PK! Ok, surely Pk was just coming in to check on my place...right?? Surely she was just coming in to keep my kitty company...right???

WRONG...My friend, the one I thought I could count on the MOST, was up to NO good. How did I figure it out? Well, look at what I saw NEXT.

Thats RIGHT! It's EVA. And she looks like she is READY to party!!! But she seems a bit surprised to see the camera there.

So, now that's 2! 2 people that I thought were my closest friends, decided to party at my house. Now that's just SAD! It just goes to show, you can't trust ANYBODY these days!

So, I thought, ok, I guess these two were bored and decided to hang out together at my house, not really a big deal...right? WRONG again people! Look who came in next!

That's right people, you guessed it, it's Tiggr! She looks like she's having a blast bouncing on my bed. I guess she was having a great time until this happened:
That's right people. Not only did they eat all the cheetos, they broke my bed.

Oh but I'm getting ahead of myself. Before the bed broke, Ceeci showed up with movies and liquor, it looks like she had a hard day at the gym, doesn't it??:

I also saw Cassie and Tom. I was surprised to see them there, but they do make a very cute couple, don't they?

By this time the party was really hopping. Someone threw panties on the camera so I missed some of the action. The panties looked alot like mine. I think someone was going threw my drawers. Have these people NO shame?? It didn't look like it to me.

I couldn't see the action, but I could still hear it. I believe Paul showed up. I could hear lots of girls yelling OUCH and stop and there was slapping sounds. Good, someone with a sound mind showed up to give those girls what they deserved!

For some reason the panties fell off the camera and THIS is what I saw:

That's right, it's Paul! All dressed up and ready to party! Here I thought he was the voice of reason...heh!

Then I noticed that MaggieDear showed up, with MORE liquor:

Seems David and MTHC showed up, and David tried to use the paddle on MTHC. This is what happened next.

Next thing I see is Tiggr and MTHC hiding in the closet. Not sure what was happening in there, but MTHC crawled out looking a little nervous.

Next I saw Caryagal playing on my computer. I'm sure Papa Shrek will be happy to view this tape and see just what his girl was up to at MY house.

I could sure tell that Bonnie had fun....just look at that content look on her face! Those must have been some GREAT movies you brought over Ceeci!

Well, it seems that Tiggr ended up in the front yard, climbing the tree. I could have swore there were panties and butt plugs up there, maybe she was just trying to pick out a good one, or maybe she was trying to clean up the place.

Nope she wasn't trying to clean.
Last thing I noticed was Spanky and Kallisto leaving together.
Looks like they were planning on finishing this party at home.

Well, it SEEMS,everyone was having a great time...without me...in MY house.

In the morning, this is what was left.

Seems Theresa showed up. Theresa, ever the caring nurse that she is, cleaned up the place, and passed out the asprin.
Now THAT is a true friend! Finally someone with their head on straight! Thank YOU Theresa!

There was someone on the tape I didn't recongnize. She helped Theresa clean up and took care of some of the hang overs. I could only see her leaving though, but I think she was reesa roberts:

Well, that's it. That was the end of the tape.

I'm still shocked at what I saw. I can't believe people that I thought were my friends, showed up at MY house while I was gone and took full advantage of the situation.

I guess my only true friend is Theresa. She left me lasagna and replaced the paint stirrer. That is what true friendship is all about! And I really need to hang out with Reesa Roberts...she seems nice!

So, just to wrap things up. I had a great time on my trip. There were spankings, there were orgasms, there was lots of alone time with the Bossman.

I came home, expecting to write a big long post about my trip. Instead I have to inform all you innocents about the debauchery that went on in MY home while I was away.

It's tragic, but true! You just can't trust ANYONE these days. Not even your closest friends.

See if I ever leave YOU the key again.

By the way, my kitty is miffed that you locked her in the garage! The least you could have done was allow her to join in the fun!

Now, should I call the police and file a report? Or should I just inform, Nick, (well he already found out, but I think Pk is due another longer, harder spanking for this...don't you?) Adam, MoJo, Dante, and the rest of the men? I'm thinking it won't matter. I mean, if Paul and Tom went along with this, what makes me think the rest of the men will care???

I guess my only solace is the fact that I am hoarding tons of details about spankings, and YOU all don't get to hear about them!

Oh, and next time you decide to have a party...could you WAIT until I am HOME????

SHEEZ!

18 years ago.....

18 years ago, I got married.

It was one of the best days of my life.

We had a nice wedding. Your standard, bridesmaids and groomsmen, flower girl and even a cousin to read the Lords Pray.

As with every wedding, something is bound to go wrong. Mine was no exception.

Bossman couldn't find his tie. ~sigh~

Nobody told me the dilemma. I couldn't figure out why we weren't starting the wedding. They just kept saying, few more minutes, few more minutes. For heavens sake people, I was ready to go. If anyone was going to make the wedding late, it should be the bride. RIGHT?

Eventually, I thought, what happened? Did he not show up for the wedding? Did he have a change of heart? Everyone was trying to keep me calm, but I was getting nervous! Finally I told everyone they better tell me the truth, RIGHT NOW, or I was going out there myself to find out what the problem was. Finally they told me, Bossman can't find his bow tie.

SHEEZ, people. Is that IT?? My wedding is over 30 minutes late because of a stupid bow tie. I should mention here that Bossman was wearing all white. White tux, white cumberbun and white tie. Whose gonna notice if the tie is missing??

Well, I wasn't waiting a moment longer. Let's go people. I don't care about the tie.

So the wedding started. FINALLY!

The rest of the wedding was fine, except the preacher felt the need to give the longest sermon possible, instead of just saying the "I do's". Oh, the other thing, it was the hottest day of the YEAR, and Bossman and I had to stand up for so long I thought one of us was going to faint. As it turns out, none of us did that, but the best man, almost did.

The rest of the day was perfect. Toward the end of our reception, which was held at the church, we were waiting for the limo to arrive. Of course the limo was late. We really wanted to be alone for a few minutes, (GET your minds out of the gutter)we wanted to just absorb the fact that we finally got married.

We snuck off to the sanctuary. We sat in the back pew of the church. Two young people taking the biggest step of their life. What would happen now? Where would our lives lead us? What would we be doing and where would we be living 10, 15, years from now? How many children would we have?

We had our whole life stretched before us. We had no idea where the road we just started on would lead us to. But we were going to walk that road, and we were going to walk it together...holding hands.

Thank goodness we decided to take that road together. That road is long, it's curvy, it's had alot of hills to climb up and go down. As I look ahead, I can see there are still curves, I can see there are some hills. But the funny thing is, it doesn't worry me. For over the years, whenever there was a hill to climb, it was so much easier when we helped each other. He pulled me up some hills, and I pulled him up some hills, and hand in hand we would run down them together, ready to face the next hill or curve.

I wouldn't have wanted to travel down this road with anyone but Bossman.

I'm just lucky he decided to go with me.

I can't wait to see what's around the corner! Lucky for me, I'll be holding his hand.

I'll love you forever Honey!

I just got home! We had the BEST time! Thanks for taking care of the place. I think I'll go unpack. I found something weird on the sidewalk outside and THESE on the flag pole! Those silly teens, you just never know what they will get themselves into when people are gone. Anyway, I should probably take a look at the video tape. I'll do that after I unpack.
Oh, and thanks for taking care of the cat, it's weird...somehow she ended up in the garage. That silly cat!

Well, watch here for details, coming later this week!

Love you all,
grace

plucked, buffed, and shaved....

I think I'm ready for my trip.

I've plucked,

I've buffed,

I've shaved all the important parts

I've also packed something fun to wear.

So, you don't think I'm expecting too much...do you??

Anyway, the key is under the mat......

Don't forget to pick up the newspaper and....

Please, remember to feed the cat....

Oh, and NO parties while I'm gone! I'll be watching!
Well, I guess that's it. I'm ready to go. Thanks for keeping an eye on the place.
See-ya Tuesday!

HUGS!!!

I am right!

I am so glad you all enjoyed the poem. I wish I could find some of that creativity, but I'm just not in a very creative mood these days.

My days are filled with driving the wildchild around, taking care of my sick little man (he's better now) and trying to get along with my husband. Not much inspiration going on here.

To be honest, Bossman and I have finally come to terms with our disagreement. Of course you all know I had to give up the fight, even though I was right! (remember, I'm always right) I feel when it comes to marriage, unless you want to be unhappy all the time, you have to give a little, even when you're right. I did say I was right, didn't I? Well, I was right. I'm still right, and I will always be right. But I've given up the fight. Because I know, deep in my heart, I am right! So there!

Anyway, now that we all know I was right, I'll tell you why I had to give up being right. For one, life was miserable! Two, Monday is our anniversary. I don't want to have any bad feelings on our anniversary. Anniversaries are a time to celebrate your love, not hang on to trivial things. Believe me, our fight was not anything major. Nobody had an affair, nobody lie, or cheated. It was merely a difference of opinion. So, since I know I was right, I'll let it go, because I want to have a great anniversary. I DID mention I was right, didn't I?

There hasn't been any spankings going on. That's ok, we've been busy and our schedule just hasn't had room for spanking in it. BUT...that will change this weekend!! Bossman and I are going away for the weekend, by OURSELVES!!! No children will be coming with us.

My mother has some property about 4 hours from our house. It's in the desert about 2 hours or so from Las Vegas. She still lives in our area, but she's getting this place ready for when she retires. So we are going to head up there for a nice relaxing weekend by ourselves. The house is in a rural area, so the neighbors will not be a problem.

This weekend will be all about celebrating our love and getting ourselves back on track. We are not planning anything, other than spending time together. Well, I am planning on getting spanked. AND, I plan on having lots of sex. I'm not sure what Bossman is planning, but I'll just bet it's going to be close to my plans!

Hopefully, I will come home with love in my heart, a sore bottom, and lots of fun stories!

Did I mention this is our 18th wedding anniversary? Pretty cool huh?

It

If this looks familiar, it's because I first posted it in 2004. Enjoy.

It feels so wrong, so very wrong.
Then if feels...........so very very right.
It feels wicked and ugly.
Then if feels good and beautiful.
The thought of it makes my heart beat faster.
I can feel my blood pulsating through my body.
My thoughts collide,
Spinning and rushing and slamming into each other in my head.
My heart pounds out of control, ready to burst from my chest.
This is so wrong.
This is so right.
How can I want it so much, yet feel so much shame?
My body betrays me.
It wants it.
It needs it.
My body knows what my head won't accept.
My body grows weak with need.
Wet with desire.
Hot with shame.
My heart screams for someone to understand.
And then.........there is you.
You know.
How can you know....when I don't know?
But you know.
You know my soul like nobody else.
You are my soul.
You make it ok.
You push past my insecurities.
You make it right, when the whole world screams...it's wrong.
I love you.
I love this "thing we do"
No, I hate it.
But I love it.
It is right.
It is wrong.
It just is.
