Thank you all for your wonderful, supportful comments. It's nice to know there are people out there that care. Most of you don't really know me personally, but you care and that makes me feel nice.
I went for the mammo and ultrasound today. Instead of one little lump...they found two. The second one wasn't visible on the mammo, but they caught it on the ultrasound.
I was only joking on the last post when I titled it "one lump or two". Guess I shouldn't joke around so much.
On Thursday I go in for a biopsy.
It's a fun little procedure where they look on the ultrasound and as they find the spots they insert a needle to get some samples. Sounds like a party to me!
I won't find out the results of the biopsy until Friday or Monday.
And I thought THIS Monday was a long time to wait....
Seriously....
I might just go out of my mind.
Hope all goes well with the biopsy. I've had one and it wasn't bad at all, but the wait is hard. I'll be thinking of you on Thursday! Meow
ReplyDeleteGood grief and Monday is a holiday some places. You know you can call any time you like. Like when you're going nuts and need a nut to talk to. I'm around. And I love you!

Why, I think you need to go shopping.
ReplyDeleteOr something else that makes you feel better?
Hugs,

As mthc said, the procedure isn't that bad. It's the idea of it that's scarier than the event. A needle biopsy is much easier than a surgical biopsy.
ReplyDeleteThe positive thoughts are headed your way.
*hugs*

Grace there are a million benign things it could be. So the odds are in your favor and so are a whole bunch of prayers!
ReplyDeleteLike everyone says the worry is much worse than the biopsy will be.
I be checking in for the good news in a few days!
Love and Huggs!
Theresa
