When I started this blog he was in kindergarten. So thank you all for going on this journey with me. I can't believe it's happening. Somebody send tissues!
It's a bit ironic, but my son has a girlfriend that he met online. They've been online dating for almost a year. They haven't actually met in person so for graduation we are flying her in. He doesn't know this so....SURPRISE! Not tomorrow, but next Saturday will be the big surprise. I don't know what he'll do. He's madly in love with her, I've spoken to her on Skype and emails and such and she seems very nice. I hope so because she's going to be here for a week and a half!
In other news,
My birthday was fantastic! Bossman really went out of his way to surprise me and make my day super special. His gifts were so great. Unfortunately, he hasn't used the slapped thingie yet. (What the heck is it called?). I thought maybe spanking might make a come back in our lives. We had a late night discussion and we're trying to figure out when our relationship was the best and Bossman said he thought it was when we had spanking in our lives. I agreed and I thought we decided to bring it back. But so far, nothing.
Things are going to be crazy here the next couple of weeks so I'm not holding out hope that it will happen, but I am encouraged that there was some discussion. So, think positive thoughts for us!!
Lastly, I think my boy is going to go away to college after all. We are in the process of working it all out and if it happens he will be 15 driving hours away. Sending him to boarding school was really hard, we missed out on a lot of things, but we were only 3 hours away and we made it work and it was the best thing we ever did for him. Sending him to college is like sending him to the moon. I realize this will be such an amazing experience for him and I am excited for him but, but....but he's my baby.
I hope everyone out there is doing great. I hope you are getting all the spankings you want and need! Thanks for reading. It means the world to me!

Ahhh... my friend, I've been with you for most of this journey, and happily so. Can't believe he's graduating, then again I have a hard time believing the wild child is all grown up and happily married.

We were at our best when spanking entered out lives - was it just something new, although he occasionally spanks now, it's just not the same. There is no problem, but I want back what we had.
Please come back and give us 'detail whores' the story of when he sees his lady love in person.
The girlfriend lives in Indiana. He's probably going to school in Washington. I will keep you updated on the surprise, it's going to be a doozy!

Sending your baby out into to world is so bittersweet...you want and have prepared them to succeed but at the same time, you can't protect them when they're away from you. ;) I'm with PK...want all the details when your baby meets the girlfriend. ;)

Wow you blog has been going for a while, yet I've only known you a short time. Wonderful you son is graduating, hope it all goes well with the girl friend. Its hard when your baby leaves the nest.

An exciting and sad time in your life but you'll get through it with lots of hugs and tears. You've been through it and yet the wild child is back in the nest - maybe the same will happen with your baby.

My oldest is about to turn 13 and I am already getting sappy about it...can only imagine both the excitement and sadness of when it is time for them to fly off on their own. ReplyDeleteSo we saw parts of the world which had been on our "bucket list" , we bought two dogs , we indulged the unmentionable pleasures in different parts of the house and in different ways ,including but not limited to spanking.
