I don't have anything witty or funny to write, but I did want to finish the week with a post sooooooo....

I went to my sons parent teacher conference yesterday. My son is in the 3rd grade. He reads at 5th grade level. He's above average on all the subjects! HOORAY for my baby!
Just thought I would brag a little. But don't tell him I called him a baby.
Also, Bossman hasn't given me a spanking all week. Just thought you should know. For most people, this would seem like a good thing, but we all know better, right?
Finally, we're out of toilet paper. Again, just thought you should know.

Don't expect a post from me this weekend. Weekends just don't work well for blogging when there are children milling about.
Well, if this post wasn't enough to excite you, go back and read about dirty laundry. I mean, really, is there anyone that doesn't have dirty laundry?
Have a great weekend!
later.......
Grace~ I'm on my last roll of toilet paper. I could share but then I'd be forced to go to the store before tomorrow. And no, I don't teach Geometry. I teach all Algebra. Your wild child would have passed the first time had I been her teacher!!

I want to teach your son in the 6th grade! After the bunch I have this year I need something to look forward to. Has your daughter done the play yet??
ReplyDeleteIf you will come by I have tons of toilet paper and I am willing to share. I buy by the ton so there is always some stuck around somewhere.
I think you should make it a tradition to post at least 5 days a week. I find it very comforting to know you are here!

Loved the dirty laundry post, but couldn't think of anything interesting to say to add to it! I know a good post would be for us after laundry though... Stuff under the kitchen table! It definitely has a history of all meals, craft projects, homework ... I could go on and on! And that is with 2x daily sweeping ... well most of the time :-)

It was lovely to read your posts dear Grace.
ReplyDeleteWhat sort of a mom would you be if you didn't brag a little about you children.
Surely you know how to push Baseman's buttons to get a little of what you fancy.
Have a great week-end dear girl.
Warm hugs,
Paul.
Have a good weekend. I also vote you post 5 days a week. I hate running out of toilet paper. It never seems to happen at a good time.
