The good, the bad and the ugly

The good

The children spent the night and grandma's house this past Saturday night. Of course if you are anything like me, you immediately think there's a spanking in the forecast. Sorry to say, there was NO spanking in the forecast. There was a lot of spanking TALK, but as for a real live spanking, didn't happen.

Of course, now you are wondering, what's so good about that? Well, geez, let me get to the good part already!

With an evening spread before us with no children, the possibilities were endless. So we decided to be crazy and do something we never get to do. We went out to dinner! I KNOW, that may SOUND like it wasn't very crazy, but hey, we've been married for 18 years, that's about as crazy as it gets around here.

After the dinner, which was at the restaurant where we went on our very FIRST date, we decided to rent a movie. I KNOW, still not that crazy, but again, CRAZY for us. So we rented Superman returns. It was good. Not great, but not bad. I liked.

Now, comes the GOOD part. You can consider this the CRAZY part as well.

We decided to make love.

Outside.

In the back yard.

*On the trampoline.*

THERE! Is that good or crazy enough?

Oh my! That was really, really FUN!

We got a bunch of blankets and pillows and headed out the back door. We arranged the blankets and pillows in the middle of the tramp. We got very cozy under the blankets! After some touching and talking, we got down to some serious action.

Did I mention that the neighbors were having a party of some kind?

Oh, yeah, they were having a party.

We could hear some of the party guests heading out to their cars. They were talking, LOUD!

But you know, I didn't even care. I thought I would care. I thought it would be weird and I would be nervous about the whole thing, but NOPE. I was having FUN!

Ok, I'll admit, I was worried about making too much noise. So I had to keep my moaning and groaning inside. THAT was hard. I don't know if I've mentioned this before, but I tend to be kind of loud when having the big "O". So, I did try and keep quiet.

I think I did ok. I guess I could ask the neighbors if they heard any weird noises.

Nah...I don't want to know!

*Yes, that is our trampoline. Notice how close the neighbors house is to our fence. This was NOT the neighbors having the party. But you can see how crazy and bold we were that night!*

The bad

We were going to go to the beach yesterday. Actually, we did go to the beach yesterday. The beach looked a little like this:

Needless to say, we didn't stay at the beach very long.

The day turned out ok after all. We went to a lake that is inland and only about 30 miles from the beach. It was nice and sunny and we all got a sunburn! So, not so bad after all!

The ugly

The wildchilds tonsils are UGLY! They are as big as golf balls. We saw the doctor today and the surgery is scheduled for the 6th of August. They tell us that it only take 15 mins and she doesn't even stay in the hospital. It is an outpatient surgery and because of the new procedures there shouldn't be much pain. The doc has assured us that everything will be fine and she should be ready to start school on the 15th.

Thank you for reading the good, the bad and the ugly. Now, go shut off the computer and go make love on your trampoline! You know you want too!

  1. Grace! Mollie has been begging us for years for a trampoline! I will give you full credit when we bring it home!! I love that you are in love enough to not care really care about the neighbors! I am impressed!!

I will also admit that dinner and a movie would be a fairly wild night for us too!

I imagine the pain from surgery will be much less that what she has been putting up with with the tonsils! I hope it goes smooth as silk!

  2. I love it that you guys did that, lol!

Dan and I tried to make love outside at the old house, which had an AWESOME and very private backyard, but we kept giggling and saying ridiculous things to make each other laugh and he couldn't keep his hard on long enough from laughing so we ran back into the house and finished.

In this neighborhood, our houses are so close together we might as well do it in the front yard. lol

    Fun story, thanks for sharing!

Good luck with the tonsils! Amazing how things like that change as the years go on, eh?

  3. Dang. We don't have a trampoline, but our neighbors do. Maybe we could use theirs. No wait. We probably would need to ask. And they would want to know what we're doing .. and they have kids who don't need to be educated in this manner. Dang. You have all the fun.

  5. Darn it! We don't have one!!!! Hmmm outside... LOVE IT!! Used to happen some before kids but it is only every once in a while now. Sounds like a great time! Dinner and a movie! What a concept! I'm not much into movies, but... dinner sounds wonderful! I'd even rent a movie given the chance.. hmmm do they rent the wiggles? oh wait... no kids.. are there movies out there still for adults???? My oldest did great with her toncils out. She had it done first thing in the morning and we told her whatever she wanted to do the rest of the day was fine. She picked chuckie cheese! Three hours after toncils out she was eating pizza with the best of them!

  7. Making love outdoors is an exceptional extra thrill. The concept of being discovered is constantly with you. We have on a hilltop hearing voices on the road below, on a seemingly deserted beach in Hawaii near dusk (people walked by less than a minute after we were back in clothes), in the ocean looking at people on the beach, and a few other glorious times, but never in our backyard....hmmmm!
glad you had a great time, but I think you should be spanked for stifling your groans..

  8. Grace, sounds like you had a great time, did the trampoline survive. *G*
Love in the open is always great, we did as often as we safely could, and on occasion not so safe.
How come you didn't even get a good girl?
    Warm hugs,
    Paul.
