That might seem like a weird thing to be thankful for but, there it is.
I LOVE Costco. Everything you go there is something new to see. I love going up and down the aisles looking for new treasures. Today I bought some chicken tortilla soup, a nativity set, (I collect them and this one was only 17 dollars) a set of glass bowls for my daughter, a case of canned pineapple, a case of chicken noodle soup, two bags of Skinny pop popcorn and a giant soft plush blanket.
I know some like to go for the samples. I am not really a sample girl, unless it's something that really looks good.
So...if you go to Costco, what is your favorite thing to buy there?
Since I'm asking, I have another question.
Trader Joe's is right next to Costco, but I've never gone. What kind of things do you like to get at Trader Joe's? I'm thinking of expanding my horizons!
Lucky Grace...I don't have a Costco nearby but sure wish I did. When I worked close to Costco, I used to go shopping on Friday night after work...yes I loved the samples but also loved the bulk spices plus they used to have great bargains on books. I also found a lot of comfy affordable sweatshirts and t-shirts there. Don't have a Trader Joes anywhere close and have never shopped at one so can't help you there. :)

ReplyDeleteWe don't have a Trader Joe's here, but I love Costco. My favourite thing to buy is Red Lobster cheese garlic biscuit mix. I've never seen it anywhere else.

Neither one is near here. Sounds like a place I'd like to shop at Costco. I'd give Trader Joe's a try too.
ReplyDeleteI love Trader Joe's. At Christmas, they are the only stores that carry good Pfferneuse - Ray's favorite cookie. Lots of different choices there.
ReplyDeleteHi Grace, :) Costco is a fun place to shop. We used to belong to that, but now BJ's (similar) is closer. We don't go as often anymore, as we don't need to buy in quantities that we used to when the four kids lived here. My fav thing... not sure I had/have a fav, but I used to enjoy looking at, and sometimes purchasing an electronic gadget here and there. LOL!
ReplyDeleteWithout a doubt, my very favourite item at Trader Joes is a type of cookie called Joe Joes (the vanilla ones). Think Golden double stuffed oreos, only real vanilla flavour in the icing! Meredith and Jack got me into those. They are a staple around here. Rob usually keeps the pantry stocked with a box. :) I have to be strict and only try to have two a day. Sometimes I just have to have one more... LOL! We don't go there too often to shop, but a lot of our friends around here do, and love it. Many hugs,

We love both of the stores. We get some of our supplements at costco, along with their steak jerky and bulk nuts and protein drinks. I buy English cheddar there and bulk lettuce and spinach. Some berries seem to rot very quickly.
