I've been reading a lot about all ya'll getting snow.
So, I thought I'd brag!
Today is a nice 75. Bossman took the morning off and we headed to the beach. We watched the surfers and we wished we had the whole day to just sit and dream.
But, real-life did happen. Bossman had to go back to work. Boo!
When I picked up the little man, he was very hot and sweaty. I suggested going outside and playing when we got home, but he claimed it was too hot. LOL
In conclusion, our weather here is FANTASTIC! Sorry to send you the storm that blew in last weekend!
Now, off to the garage, I got tables that I need to take paint off of. Perfect weather for a project!
You are a brave woman! Some of our snow bound friends can get a little testy this time of year. But your day sounds wonderful to me!!

Let's see - we have had two 70 degree days and several 40 degree days in the past week. But I'm not jealous - I'm jealous of the people who get SNOW! LOL

Two weeks ago Monday it was 73 that Friday snow and ice. I want Spring.

Grace, for me it's spring, the early flowers are blooming and the weather is fairly mild.
ReplyDeleteI read about my friends who have lots of snow or storms and I feel for them.
It's unfortunate that we cannot ship our weather, we just have to live with it.

Two days ago, our temperature was just above the freezing mark. I saw 2 little green shoots peeking up out of the moist soil by the back door. Today it is very well down below freezing, lots of snow and ice to scrape off the car windows before I can drive to work. I need to plug the car's block heater in at night so it will start in the morning.
ReplyDeletePaul, we once had an English girls' school choir sing in our city as part of a Canadian tour. They arrived in March, fresh from fields of golden daffoldils at home, to find sub-zero weather, lots of snow, and nary a bud in sight. Culture shock, to be sure!
Spankings are so useful for keeping warm at this time of year.

ReplyDelete72 degrees 11 or so hours north of you, Grace. We went out for Mex, then came home to a gorgeous sunset. The sky is dark now, the windows are all open and it's fabulous.
