The wildchild is doing better. We'll find out this morning how it looks, as the doc is seeing us at 9:30. I KNOW, why the heck do I have to get up early on Saturday?
In other news, let me tell you about my Thursday.
When I last left you, I was trying to help the wildchild manage her pain. As the evening went on, she went to bed and I proceeded to post my last post.
After posting, Bossman insisted I take a shower, with him helping. It was wonderful bliss after a very hectic day. When we finished the shower and opened the curtain....well, the curtain was not all the way in the tub and we didn't notice that the shower had leaked all over the bathroom floor. All over the floor. HUGE puddle on the floor.
Did I mention that my dryer is broken?
We employed the use of every towel in the house and got it dried up, but again I ask you....Did you know my dryer was broken?
~sigh~
After we got the mess cleared up, we came into the kitchen to find that ANTS had invaded our food. YAY! I love when the ants eat my cereal! It just makes my day extra special when they stop by.
I think Thursday was really Friday the 13th in disguise. Actually, I think the entire week was jinxed.....
So, yeah, lets hope this weekend shapes up to be better than the week.
Oh and I think me and Sven broke up. (Or is that Sven and I?) I haven't seen him all week.
AND...you know that appointment I had? I think that has been postponed for awhile.
Just so I can leave here on a good note......
These are arriving on Monday!

BTW.....
Happy Valentines Day!
Got a broken dryer here too so I sympathise.
ReplyDeleteHappy Valentine's Day to you too.
love and hugs xxx
Happy Valentine's Day to everyone!
ReplyDeleteOH MY...it all started so nicely...I was picturing the hot steamy erotic shower scene...and then OMG...and no Dryer!
ReplyDeleteAnd that 2 timing Sven..where could he be? He's DEFINATELY not here at my house you can bet on that!
I am jealous of your new toys coming on Monday..they look gorgeous.
Hope today goes much much better and your Wild Child is feeling even better today
Happy Valentines Day to you and Bossman
Take care
AG
Hope wildchild is feeling better and everthing went well for her today.
ReplyDeleteWhat a day you had, leaking shower, broken dryer and ants, hoping today and next week is better for you and your appointment isn't postponed for too long.
Happy Valentines to you both.
Ronnie
xx
PS The error message doesn't come up any more, thank you Grace.
Happy Valentine's Day back atcha!
ReplyDeleteLove the new washer/dryer set. Ants, eh? Yeah.... :\
I know all about them, buggers.
Rough week for you guys (and us too); hope next week is smooth sailing! :)
Why is it that when it happens it all seems to happen at once?
ReplyDeleteYour new washer and dryer set looks wonderful. Sorry to read about the ants, they're not fun! And a canceled appointment, *sheesh* will the awfulness never end?
It will. WildChild will be feeling better by the day. Laundry will be fun in your new state of the art set, the ants will find somewhere else to forage, and your canceled appointment will be rescheduled.
Happy Valentine's Day!!
*hugs*
CeeCi
We often view ants in the kitchen as one of the first signs of spring! Might be different in the country you live in.
ReplyDeleteI like CeeCi take on things. All will be better but for your sake I really hope its soon!
Love you sister!
I just had to deal with a broken dryer also--it was a pain
ReplyDeleteI hope you have a Happy Valentines Day
WOw, I can sympathize with braoken dryer;we've been without one since this summer. Ants, yuck they can stay outside. Here's hoping your weekend went great and wildchild is feeling much better. Hopefully by now, your new toys have arrived.
ReplyDeleteAnts? In winter? Now, if you were sensible and lived farther north, you wouldn't have such things in your kitchen. There's nothing crawling around anywhere up here! :-)
ReplyDeleteActually, I saw a ladybug in the kitchen window. Did you know they hibernate under the snow?
Too bad about the missed appointment. But you can always reschedule.
Hugs,
Hermione
