T.M.I.

I have something I need to discuss.  If I can’t discuss it here, where can I?

If you feel this is too much info for you, please, feel free to click on a link in my sidebar.  Surely my friends will have more pleasant things to write about than this.

You know, since I’m thinking about it and all, I realize that most people probably have this problem.  I’m sure it’s common amongst our group or any group that is around my age.

But still, it’s rather embarrassing to talk about.  It makes me feel old.  I don’t feel at all sexy.

It’s just so shocking.  I mean, you don’t find out you have this problem everyday.  When you finally see it…it’s a shock.  It’s unreal.

Your just unsure of how to react.  I mean what’s a person suppose to do in this situation?

So, let me get to the point already.

See, the other day, Bossman decided to shave me…you know….”down there”.

For the sake of innocence, lets call it the carpet.  Bossman shaved my carpet.

My carpet is starting to grow back and it’s gotten a little itchy.  While making sure that it’s was just a little itch and nothing was serious down there, I saw it…..

I saw a gray hair.

Yes folks, you’ve heard it hear first…..

My carpet is going gray!

What does this mean?  Is it serious?  Will more starting turning on me?  Should I pluck it?  This is horrible!

Well, I’m not sure what to do about it, so for now, I’m just going to ignore it.  I’m pretty sure that it will go away on it’s own.

Feel free to give me any advice on how to deal with this very serious problem.

For now, I’m going to take to my bed.  This is very depressing and I’m going to need some time to get over it.

I think cheetos and cheesecake might help.  But since we are all on diets over here…it’s going to be more like water and rice cakes.  I have a feeling water and rice cakes are NOT going to help much.

Now I’m even more depressed!

I better just go to bed.  Surely things will look better tomorrow!

1. I'm a wife, I'm a mother, I am exhausted.

2. Why do I have a lot of cleaning to do and not a cleaning fairy?

3. How does this  life work, anyway?

4. Every morning, I put milk on my cereal.

5. I consider myself lucky because Bossman loves me.

6. One day we’ll see New York together.

7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to the youth group coming over to our house, tomorrow my plans include hanging out with friends and Sunday, I want to paint a cabinet that I am fixing up for Bossmans die-cast Nascars!

In case you were wondering…

The wildchild can’t catch a break.  She now has fluid in her ear.  The same ear that was infected.  They are saying that it is not from the original  infection, this is something she just got.  Not that it makes it better for her….but whatever.

Also, when I originally took her to the ER and they sent us home, telling us to use hot compresses….well a friend looked at our file and the hospital claims we refused treatment.  I can’t tell you how infuriating this is.  We followed exactly what the doctor told us to do.  Now, AFTER he told us to use hot compresses, THEN he JOKINGLY said, “I could poke it with a needle.”  He didn’t say that it needed to be done and he said that he would do the compresses first…..

So?  What would you do?  Poke it with a needle or use hot compresses?

I’m so mad!  Seriously, We are going to ask a lawyer if we have a law suit.  We aren’t the suing type…we’ve NEVER sued someone, but…..

How can they say we refused treatment?  The doc that did the surgery was VERY surprised that they didn’t take care of it at the ER.  He said she should have been admitted.  48 hours passed before she got proper treatment.  Could the damage to her ear been less, if they had taken care of it sooner?  I don’t know….but I do know that I am MAD!

Finally, the words I posted yesterday?  Well, I wanted to make a post about our morning but I neither had the time nor the imagination to write it down.  At first, I just wrote the words and planned on coming back later to write the story, but in the end, the words just told the story perfectly.  Plus, you all got to use your imagination.

I hope none of you strained your brain!

So, now you know!

D is for Delightful

*update at the bottom of the page*

It’s Tuesday again and we all know what time it is….

It’s time to be grateful!

Today’s gratefulness is brought to you by the letter D.

Diamonds: They say diamonds are a girls best friend.  Now I don’t have a lot of diamonds.  I only have diamond earrings, given to my by Bossman for my 40th birthday, and diamond wedding ring, again, given by Bossman, and lastly, an eternity ring with diamonds, given to me on our 10th anniversary, by, who else, Bossman!  Do you see a pattern here?  Every diamond I’ve ever been given has been given to me by Bossman.  I guess that’s why I love them so much, they were given to me by my best friend!

Dreams:  Without dreams, life would be pretty boring.  We have to have something to work toward, something to think about. Some dreams come true.  Marrying Bossman was my dream come true.

Dildo: What woman doesn’t like a good dildo?  Mine is named George.

Discipline: What kind of spanko would I be if I didn’t like discipline?

Dinner:  Dinner is probably my favorite meal, but only if someone else is cooking it for me.  Otherwise, I don’t like dinner time very well.

Donut:  Glazed are my favorite, followed by cream filled.

Dvd:  I love watching dvd’s.  Rainy days, a good dvd and a bowl of popcorn make grace a happy, happy girl.

Well, I admit….the D’s weren’t that easy.  I had to think a little bit about this list.  I’m sure I’ve left some things off.   That’s ok though, I am still very grateful!  I’m grateful for my blog and I’m very grateful that you have taken the time to read here!

Have a great day!

*Update*

I can’t believe I didn’t put Daughter on my list of D’s.  Of course I love my daughter very, very much.  She is lovely, kind, crazy, funny, annoying, irritating, talented and beautiful!

Also, did you hear about this?  How could this happen on D day….I’ll never know!

I don’t know about you…but I think this is just horrible!

pieces

I found an old box in the garage.  It had old baby toys from when Bossman was a baby and we had them for our own kids.  There were old pictures, there were old cards and there were old letters.  I found a report card from kindergarten.  My report card.  I don’t even remember kindergarten.

Funny thing is, there isn’t that much left from my childhood.  There aren’t that many pictures of me as a child, nor are there any toys or clothes.  We moved around a lot and my parents didn’t have a lot of money, so it’s not surprising that there isn’t much left from my childhood.

That box is full of pieces of my life.

It seems I was a great kid.  I got great grades in kindergarten!  My teacher liked me.   I found report cards from other grades and I was a decent student.

I found notes that I had written to my friends in high school.  Apparently writing notes was a big deal in high school.  We were bored in class so we would write epic novels to our friends and we expected them to write us epic novels back.  Remember, we didn’t have cell phones, computers and text messaging.    I found myself sad that my daughter wouldn’t have memories like mine in a box, because it’s all on texts and computers now.

I also found love notes that I had written to Bossman.  Notes that I wrote to him when we were first dating, notes I wrote when we were first married.

Some of these notes were funny, some were sad, some were excited.  I had written how I couldn’t wait to grow up.  I had written about how horrible my parents were.  I had written how I wondered where my life was going to end up.  Each of those notes hold a piece of me.  They are me, as a young girl, trying to figure out this thing we call “life”.

As I looked through the box, I thought about my kids.  I realized that someday, my kids, would have to sort through that box.  What would they think of me?  They will probably laugh at my goofiness.  I know they will laugh at the fashion….does anyone have a good picture of themselves from the 80’s?  I hope they will be proud of me and I hope they realize that where I came from makes me who I am.  All those pieces of my life helped to make me and in turn, helped make them.

I doubt anyone is interested in the pieces of my life, but I wonder….

What are the pieces of your life and what do they say about you?

P.S. This is video is so funny.  I dedicate it to all the moms out there!

Friday Fill-ins

1. Give me a spanking and I'll try to be good.

2. Whenever you talk, I listen.

3. I wish I could fly.

4. Popcorn was the last thing I ate that was utterly delicious.

5. To live in this world is such an honor.

6. Other than this one, nonsense is the last blog I commented on.

7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to hanging out with my kids, tomorrow my plans include going out to dinner and Sunday, I want to watch movies

V-day

If you have been a long time reader of my blog, (which makes about 3 of you...LOL) then you know that I'm not a big fan of Valentines day.

I don't understand why we have to set aside a day to show we love someone. We should be doing that everyday. I hate that the stores put up V-day stuff the day after Christmas. I also hate that I went to wally-world the other day and they already had Easter stuff. Ummm, hello wal-mart? yes, I'd just like to inform you that Easter isn't until APRIL! Sheez!

Anyway....

You all know what a crappy week last week was. I didn't have much time to think about V-day and frankly it was the furthest thing from my mind.

Usually, we don't do much for each other on this day. Most years we have been poor as church mice, so we've gotten used to not doing much for each other. Things are looking up financially, but that doesn't mean I have gotten used to it. Honestly, I hate thinking about buying things for Bossman. I don't have much of an imagination and he has just about everything he could want, so buying for him isn't much fun.

Friday, Bossman said he had gotten me something for V-day.

Oh great! This means I better go out and get him something. But....Friday was so hectic! I had to take the wildchild to the doctor, I had to buy a washer and dryer. I had to buy FOOD. I had a thousand things to do. How the heck was I going to find time to buy him something, let alone decided WHAT to buy him.

Luckily, I had to take the wildchild back to the doc on Saturday morning. Bossman didn't come with us. Perfect for running to wallyworld to buy valentines. Would you believe the place was PACKED at 9:45 in the morning? Yeah, apparently I'm not the only one that waited until the last minute.

Fortunately, I figured out what to buy my lover. Always a Nascar fan, and a collector of die-cast Nascars, that's what I bought him. Two of his favorite drivers, with the new car bodies. I also bought the kids a little valentine too.

When we all got home, I fixed us a nice lunch. Around 12:30, the doorbell rang.

Who could it be?

Singing telegram! For me.

Embarrassing, yes. But it was also sweet. It was 3 older gentleman and a lady. They were dressed in red and white stripped vests with a white shirt under and black pants. Barber shop quartet.

They sang me two songs. It was very sweet. And they sounded good. Then they handed me a rose and headed out the door to their next stop.

So, in the midst of all the chaos, I have one lovely memory of four strangers singing me a love song....

And I loved it!

I know V-day is over, but here's the song they sang to me that day. I dedicate it to all of you but mostly I dedicate it to Bossman.

I love you baby!

Not ready

I'm totally not ready for this.

Sure, my daughter is already 18, so I've been I've been through this before....

But seriously.....

I'm NOT READY!

One day, my beautiful baby boy is innocently playing with Lego's and video games. (Seriously, he was playing with Lego's and videos on Saturday.)

The next day....

OK, let me start at the beginning.

My son is 10. Or 10 and 1/2, as he would be happy to point out to you.

My son has a cell phone. We got it for him when we changed phone plans and it's only 10 dollars a month and HE pays for it with his own money. (Not that I have to justify this with all of you...but I'm just saying....)

On Sunday, he had a friend come over to spend the night. They were in the bedroom playing when his phone went off. It was a text message.

As any nosey caring mother would do, I read it.

In my defense, I didn't recognize the phone number!

Anyway, I read the text. There wasn't much to read, it just said, "are you there?"

Well, I started looking at the other texts, because again, I didn't recognize the number.

Alarm bells started going off when I saw a text that had a nickname for the little man.

I won't give the real name, but let's just say your name is Terry. Someone might call you Ter-bear.

TER-BEAR?

Who is calling my son this lovey dovey name? My 10 year old son?

Well, I had to question the little man. This was serious business. I called the little man into the room and asked him whose phone number that was. He said it was a "friend". Which friend, I wanted to know.

A girl from my class.

A what?

A girl?

O. M. G.

*cue mom fainting in the kitchen*

The little man thought nothing of it and immediately went back to playing. I, on the other hand, starting having heart palpation's.

After I recovered from my initial shock, I did what any nosey curious mother would do and I read all the other texts that this slut girl had sent my son. Who was this harlot girl that was calling my son cute nicknames?

Of course I then got out the class picture to see if this whore girl was cute.

She's OK....I guess.

The next day, my son was texting again. Now, let me just tell you about the Little man. He's not much of a texter. As smart as he is, he's a one word guy. So while the scankgirl was using all the latest texting lingo like, What R U doin :). My son was texting back things like, Huh, ya, no, and the ever popular OK.

Turns out, the harlot girl asked my son to the movies.

My son, going to the movies with a....a....a....girl!

So Bossman took him to the movies. There wasn't just ONE girl. Sure, the slut girl was there, but she brought her posse.

My son, my baby, the love of my life....went to the movies with THREE girls.

When did my son become a Pimp Daddy?

~sigh~

Did I mention that my son rode his bike to school by himself for the first time today?

Like I said...

I'm totally not ready for this.

C how grateful I am!

Gratitude Tuesday is here again! YAY!

Last Tuesday was a whopper for me. The wildchild really knows how to make my life exciting! I'm hoping this Tuesday will be a little more calmer.

I know today is the C day...but can I just say how grateful I am for my new washer and dryer? Holy Dryer Batman, these things are amazing! This is the first time I've ever purchased a brand new matching set. This is also the first time that my washer takes longer to wash then the dryer takes to dry. So far, that's the only thing I don't like. Why the heck does it take 55 minutes to wash a load? Although, one load is twice as big as my other, so I guess it all evens out!

Ok, enough about laundry! Let's get on to the C's!

Ceeci is such a wonderful friend and I am grateful that we met!

Coconut cake from Pepperridge farms! If you haven't indulged in one of these, go look in your freezer section and get one! They are delicous...and Sven will NOT be happy that I indulged this weekend!

My cat is named Kittles and we really love her. Our family wouldn't be complete without our feline friend.

Cable Tv! Don't hate me because I love watching TV! I know, I shouldn't watch so much TV, but I LOVE it. My favorite shows include Survivor, Amazing Race, Desperate Housewives, Greys anatomy, Private Practice and of course, I LOVE watching the Ellen show.

California is a great place to live. The other day we were having some rain. I had to laugh when the news reported that the temperture was going to be 46, with a windchill down to 43! When you say windchill around here, people look at you like you are crazy! When I heard the windchill would be 43, I had to call Eva....I mean really...I knew she'd be worried about us. Actually, I don't think she was amused by my call.....LOL

Cellphone are such wonderful inventions. I remember when the cell phones were as big as bricks. Bossman had one of the first ones and I remember that you only got 30 minutes a month and then it cost a FORTUNE if you went over. When we would drive down the road, I would PRETEND to call someone, so people in the other cars would look at me. (I KNOW, I was such a dork.) My daughter finds this story very amusing!

Speaking of my daughter, I am very grateful for my children! Lord knows, they try my patiences, but I can't imagine life without them. They are such great people! They are funny, smart, loveable. They are also annoying, stinky (my son) and picky. Good thing I love them!

Clitoris, it wouldn't be much fun to be a girl without one of these...am I right, Ladies?

Well, I think this is the list for today. I'm sure I've forgotten some C's, but these are the ones I'm most grateful for this week.

As for the wildchild, I got a look at the ear on Saturday. One of our family members said it looks like someone took an icecream scooper and scooped some of her ear out. She thinks she looks like an elf. My brother said it could have been worse, she could have had a head transplant, to which we all laughed like mad and thought how funny/not funny, it would be if you woke up from surgery and you had someone elses head on. What if you woke up and you were Korean? Or Chinese? Sure, it's ok if that's your nationality, but if your white folk like us....

Well, I guess you would have had to be there......

Anyway, have a great Tuesday and for goodness sakes...be grateful already!

One of THOSE days

The wildchild is doing better. We'll find out this morning how it looks, as the doc is seeing us at 9:30. I KNOW, why the heck do I have to get up early on Saturday?

In other news, let me tell you about my Thursday.

When I last left you, I was trying to help the wildchild manage her pain. As the evening went on, she went to bed and I proceeded to post my last post.

After posting, Bossman insisted I take a shower, with him helping. It was wonderful bliss after a very hectic day. When we finished the shower and opened the curtain....well, the curtain was not all the way in the tub and we didn't notice that the shower had leaked all over the bathroom floor. All over the floor. HUGE puddle on the floor.

Did I mention that my dryer is broken?

We employed the use of every towel in the house and got it dried up, but again I ask you....Did you know my dryer was broken?

~sigh~

After we got the mess cleared up, we came into the kitchen to find that ANTS had invaded our food. YAY! I love when the ants eat my cereal! It just makes my day extra special when they stop by.

I think Thursday was really Friday the 13th in disguise. Actually, I think the entire week was jinxed.....

So, yeah, lets hope this weekend shapes up to be better than the week.

Oh and I think me and Sven broke up. (Or is that Sven and I?) I haven't seen him all week.

AND...you know that appointment I had? I think that has been postponed for awhile.

Just so I can leave here on a good note......

These are arriving on Monday!

BTW.....

Happy Valentines Day!

Friday fill-in with a bonus horror story

ffi

1. It seems like this week will NEVER end.

2. Flush when you're done, please?

3. If I thought you'd spank me I'd be more bratty!

4. Love is what I think of most when I think of you.

5. To me, Valentine's Day means commercialism.

6. Bossman gives me strength.

7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to sleeping, tomorrow my plans include taking the wildchild to the doctor and Sunday, I want to sleep in!

*Warning* Gross picture ahead!

The wildchild has made it home and boy, is she CRANKY! She's sporting a Olivia Newton John sweatband and every time I see her I get the urge to sing "Lets get physical". Poor thing.

Here's the story. On January 23 the wilchild got her rook pierced. For those of you that don't know what a rook piercing is...it looks like this.....
Isn't that a cute ear?

Well, I wasn't that thrilled with the piercing but I didn't mind it too much. I did give her a hard time about it, but I wasn't mad or anything.

Fast forward to this past Sunday evening. Bossman and I are out at a friends house for dinner. I get a call from the wildchild. "Mom, my ear is infected, I think I need to see a doctor, will you make an appointment for me tomorrow, first thing?" I ask how bad it is and she says "real bad."

So when I get home I take a look. I see this.....I ask her why she didn't tell me sooner and she claims she was afraid I would be mad. Sheez! I don't know why she thought that....I'm not THAT mean...honest...I'm not!

So, Bossman and I decide we should take her to the ER. Remember, it's Sunday night. Let's just say everyone in my town decided they were sick that night! It was horrible. I took her while Bossman stayed home with the Little man.

It took over an hour for them to triage her, and when the doc FINALLY looked at it...well, he just said we should go home and put hot compresses on it to let it drain and he gave her some antibotics. They said if it wasn't better by Tuesday we should see her regular doc.

Tuesday arrived and with it an ear more swollen than the picture above. I took her to her doc at 9am and he immediately sent us to a Ears nose throat doc. That doc took one look, from across the room and said one word. "Hospital."

The wildchild started crying. See, she had looked it up on Dr. google, so she had seen all the horror stories.

I took her straight to the hospital. Wouldn't you know, we had to go through the ER (different hospital from the one on Sunday) and be triaged again. Even though we had doc orders in our hand. We waited for over 2 hours in the ER. Finally they took her into surgery around 4:45.

Basically, they drained it and scrapped away all the dead skin. See, cartlidge doesn't have any blood in it. So, it doesn't repair. So unfortunately this means her ear will not be so cute anymore. We are hoping it will just be flatter than a normal ear and not be too disfigured. From what I saw when the doc took the bandages off, it looked pretty good. If she doesn't keep pressure on it though, it could fold. That's why she has to wear the headband. It's keep pressure on the ear. We are very lucky it wasn't a staph infection or mrsa, BUT, the doc told us today that the results show that it was the second worse bacteria you could have. (don't ask me the name of it as I couldn't repeat it if I even remembered it.) So she's been sent home with 2 different antibiotics and vicodin. As I'm typing this, she's in a lot of pain and I just got off the phone with the doc. He says she's got all the pain meds that he can give and offered to re-admit her, but she declined that offer because she doesn't want another IV. So it could end up a long night tonight.

Anyway, the wildchild had to learn some valuable lessons here. ONE, piercings don't pay! I told her it was a waste of money and boy was I right! TWO, even if you think mom is going to be mad, it's better to have mom mad then to have to go through surgery. THREE, Mom is always right!

Ok, so she still doesn't agree with Three, but that's ok. I think the first two lessons were hard enough to learn, I won't press for the third. Although....I have a great "I told ya so" dance I could do for her. But I might wait until she's feeling better before I attempt that!

I'd love to tell all the humorous things that happened after the surgery, but that will have to wait for another post.

Your assignment for today.....don't get pierced! Warn your kids! Show them the pictures! Tell them the story! Nobody tells you the bad stuff when you get pierced. Kids just think it's cool!

Hospitals, ear surgery and deformed ear? Not so cool!

Tired!

So, I just got home from the hospital and things are looking better for the Wildchild. There was a scare of staph infection, so we were preparing for the worst. Luckily, we found out this evening that it wasn't staph!

I got to take a look at the ear and it looks pretty good. The doc told us it was bad, so we were very concerned, but after taking off the bandages, the doc said it looked great.

I'll try and tell the whole story soon, but for now, just know that things are looking up. She will probably be home tomorrow and will be home from work for at least a week, but after the scary stuff they first told us, that is NOTHING.

Thanks for all the love and support! I know you are all out there sending good thoughts and just know that I appreciate it very much!

Hope everyone is having a great week! Give your loved ones a hug!

HUGS!

News update

Update to the update....From Grace

Thank you Pk for letting everyone know what's happening.
I'll explain everything when things calm down...but for now everything is good with the wildchild. She will be in the hospital for at least 2 days, her ear will probably not be the same. There was dead cartilage that had to be taken away and unfortunately, it doesn't grow back, nor is it something that can be fixed easily. It will probably be flat, but hopefully not to noticeable, but at this point we just need it to be free from infection before we can worry about looks.

I'll post more when I get the chance, but thank you all for the good wishes! We definitely used them all today!

TEENS! I swear all my hair will be gray by the time I'm 41 (which is in May...LOL)

HUGS!

Clink, clink, clink...

PK here! I just got a call from Grace. She is not having the best day. It seems that the Wild Child’s new ear piercing has a major infection. Major as in trip to the emergency room, two different doctors and at this moment on Tuesday afternoon she is undergoing surgery to clean out the infection. They are on top of it but it is serious.

Grace asked me to let you know because she didn’t know when she might get back to the computer and she didn’t want people to think she was ignoring comments. So if you believe in prayer I think both Grace and the Wild Child could use some over the next few days. One of us will give you an update soon.

"B" grateful Tuesday!

It's time for gratitude Tuesday already! Time flies when your grateful for stuff.

My "B" list has been growing strong. I've spent time all week thinking of things that I am grateful for that begin with the letter "B".

If you would like to join in, feel free to leave a comment here, or do your own list on your blog. And hey, if you don't want to do the letter B, do whatever you want...just be grateful!

So, let's get to the B's!

It would be ridiculous if I didn't mention Bossman first. He is my favorite B. He's real name doesn't begin with B, but that's ok because I'm always grateful for Bossman. He gets me like nobody else does. He is patient and kind and caring. I believe he loves me with all his heart and I love him with all my heart. Without him, the world would be a lot like the moon. No color and no life. Bossman is my soul.

I am very grateful for my blog. I've been blogging for almost 5 years. This blog tells a story that the rest of the world doesn't know about me. Sure there are everyday stories, but the spanking secret is only allowed out here. I love being able to share with others my experiences and I also love reading about others. Some have made spanking work and some haven't. That's ok. Once I get hooked on a blog, I am usually hooked for life. I enjoy spanking and non-spanking blogs. Hooray for blogs!

Last week I got my hair done and the whole time I kept thinking how grateful I was for my beautician. She did a great job on my hair.

I love reading my Bible. Whether you believe or not, there are some great stories in that book. Some of it is quite sexy if you ask me. I KNOW! How dare I say things like that...but it's true people. If you don't believe me, read it for yourself!

Friday is payday and I can guarantee that I will be so grateful for my bank account this Friday. Not sure how I feel about that bank account today...but I'm trying to be positive...

I love to snuggle in my blankets. I recently bought a new comforter for my bed and WOW, it's 5 star hotel quality. I LOVE it. And frankly I could lay in my blankies all day...which brings me to my....

Bed. I LOVE to sleep. My bed is like a safe haven. Nothing bad can happen if I'm in bed. I love my bed.

I also am very grateful for bubble baths. The more bubbles the better. I could lay in a bath for an hour, just thinking and dreaming.

While I'm in the bath I love to read books. I love reading. My favorite book series is called "The Outlander". I am madly in love with Jamie. He's so dominate and the love story between him and Claire is heartbreakingly, breathtaking. Believe it or not, there are some spanking references and he even spanks his wife once. Although that is not the reason I love these books. I've read all 6 books twice and I will read them again. Best books EVER!

Of course I can't forget some of my favorite B's....
bubble gum
bee's
backrubs
banana splits
bread
broccoli
babies
bouncing on our trampoline
baby carrots
Beetle juice, Beetle juice, Beetle juice!

And this list wouldn't be right if I didn't include....

bottoms
buttocks
booty
bums
behind
bare butts

Along with them goes....
belts
backscratchers
brushes
bath brushes

With words like....
behave
be good
be nice
bend over

I could probably go on and on with the B's, but I'll stop now. But, I'd love to hear YOUR B's!

Have a Beautiful day!

By appointment only

Bossman spends most of his days meeting clients. He has a schedule on his phone, connected to his email, that allows him to access his calendar whenever he needs to see what appointments he has. If there is something going on in our family that he needs to attend, he will put it on his calendar so he doesn't schedule anything else for that time. The good part about this is that he isn't tied to his office. He can pretty much come and go as he pleases. If he doesn't have anything scheduled he can sleep in, if he has a late appointment with a client, he will go to the office later in the day. If he wants to take a day off, he just makes sure to clear his schedule.

All in all it's a very nice way to be able to work. He also can do a lot of his work from home, so if he doesn't feel like going in to the office, but he has things to take care of, usually he can do it from home.

I realize that I am very lucky. To have him be able to be home, or come home when I need him is awesome. He very rarely has to miss any of the Little Man's things at school, even when they are in the middle of the day. So my kids are very lucky too!

Ok, ok, I AM getting to a point!

We've decided to try something new. See, although Bossman can make time to be with me, we usually don't. Well, we do....but we don't. We spend time together, but we don't always make time for spanking.

So, the other night I was in the bath. I love me a good bubble bath.

Anyway, I was taking a bath and thinking about spanking. Yes, I tend to think about spanking when I'm in the bath. What's wrong with that???

I was thinking that maybe I should make an appointment with Bossman. I mean, as long as he can put it on his calendar...and NO, he doesn't have to say what the appointment is for...although that would be funny, wouldn't it?

If I made an appointment with Bossman on a day that the wildchild is in class and the little man is in class, well.....well...it could actually work.

Usually our problems stem from the fact that we aren't actually prepared for spanking time. Although I enjoy spontaneity, I also enjoy being prepared to take a spanking. If Bossman stays home from work then the wildchild leaves for class, we will snuggle and usually make love, but by the time we are done with all that, it's time for Bossman to get ready for work. So throwing a spanking in, doesn't usually work.

Well, I've talked to Bossman about my little proposition and he seemed to like the idea. Maybe it seems a little clinical, but I'm hopeful that this might actually work. See, on the scheduled day, when he takes the Little man to school, I could get up, instead of staying in bed...that way, I'm fully prepared to go ahead with the activities, instead of sleeping. I can mentally prepare myself so that when the wildchild leaves, we can get on to the business at hand. It doesn't have to take a lot of time, and if we WANT more time, or want some hanky panky mixed in, well, if time permits we can. All in all, it seems like a good plan. Things always look good on paper...so I guess we will just have to try it and see how it works.

I'm not sure if I'm on the schedule for this week, but if I am....

I'll be sure to let you know!

Sven

Well, I might as well tell you now, for you are bound to find out sooner or later....

I have a new boyfriend.

That's right. I have a new boyfriend. Don't worry though, Bossman knows all about him and he doesn't mind at all. Aren't I the lucky one?

Sven about 6'2, he's in great shape and he has a a short pony tail.

He and I spend lots of time in my living room. We do things. We do all kinds of positions too. Yep, Sven and I are becoming quite close!

The great thing is, Bossman doesn't mind, at all. As a matter of fact, Bossman encourages me to spend time with Sven...lots of time.

So would you like to see a picture of Sven?

Isn't he a hottie?

Sven and I have been doing yoga in my living room. So all of you with your heads in the gutters can just remove them immediately! Sheez!

Anyway, Sven is the personal trainer in the Wii fit game.

I'm sure you've all heard of the Wii. The Wii has a new game (new to me) called Wii fit. Although Sven and I are getting really close, I am extremely upset with my Wii.

The Wii fit is a game that comes with a balance board. This board knows everything about you. It's scary. It knew I liked spanking (ok, not really, but wouldn't that be weird if it did?) Anyway this is how Wii fit works.

You make a Mii. This is a cartoon version of you or whoever you want to be. (Kind of like bloggers...LOL) Once you have a Mii you go to the Wii fit game. When you first start it up it asks you normal questions like age and height. Then you stand on the board and it shows you how your posture/balance is. After that you do some balancing tests...shifting your weight back and forth on the board and trying to keep the lines within certain boxes...that sort of thing.

(I don't look nearly as cute on my Wii board! See the little box in the corner? You have to try and make the pink line stay in the blue area by balancing. Seems easy...it's NOT!)

After you go through all that it tells you your BMI (Body mass index)and how much you weigh.

Here's the part that I am embarrassed to tell you about, but hey, I'm all about keeping it real so.....

The Wii tells me I'm obese. YES people...I'm obese. Can I just tell you how much I hate that word? It's such an ugly word. If you go to this post, you will see a full body pic of me. Look, I'm no skinny minny, but do I look obese?

I think NOT!

But don't tell my Wii game that. There is no arguing with the Wii. After the Wii game tells me I'm obese it changes my Mii character to a chubster. So, not only do I have to see it in plain english that I'm obese, I now have to play the games with a chubby Mii! Oh the Wii, it does love to mock me. There is a plus side. It gives you your Wii age, meaning your fitness age. My age was 33! Not bad for a 40 year old. BUT...today I went on it and I did horrible on one of the balancing tests and so my Wii age today is 57! Can you imagine, yesterday I'm 33, today 57? It's just NOT fair. I told you, this Wii is mocking me.

Sven is an ok trainer, but he's not very aggressive. I guess yoga isn't an aggressive activity, but Sven is so passive. He's always telling me what great balance I have, even when I fall off the board. I love Sven but I wish he would just tell me the truth! I mean the Wii doesn't have a problem with the truth, why does Sven?? If only Sven would spank me when I fall of the board...I mean THAT'S the kind of motivation I NEED!

BTW, Sven didn't come with a name, I named him.....hehehehe.

The Wii fit has other things to do which I enjoy. There's hoola hooping, there's tightrope walking, there's step aerobics.

The funniest of all games is the Soccer ball challenge. In this challenge you have to shift your body left and right and try to hit the soccer ball coming at you. Only one problem, there are also shoes and panda heads? flying at you. If you don't move in time they will smack you right in the face! Violent I tell you!

Anyway, I don't know for certain if this Wii fit stuff will actually work. I do know that it's getting my lazy butt off the couch, so that, in it self, is a big plus for me. I still say I'm not obese and I am still very upset that I have a chubby Mii.

But, I am the best one in the family at the ski jumps!

So THERE Wii! Take THAT!

Gratitude Tuesday

I thought we could all use a little gratitude, ok, maybe I just need a little gratitude, but either way, I'm dragging you along with me.

Some of you may recall a few years ago when my good friend Ceeci started a little thing called Gratitude Tuesday. I really enjoyed it and with Ceeci's blessing, I've decided to revive it.

For those of you that weren't around, or for those of you that are losing your memory, let me tell you what Gratitude Tuesday is all about.

It's pretty simple really. Once a week, preferably on Tuesday, (hence the name) I will post things I'm grateful for. In order to keep the list from getting too long, I will do it alphabetically, starting with the letter "A", naturally. I'm hoping that some of you might join in on the fun. You can post here in my comments, you can drop me an email, OR you could post them on your own blog!

What are the rules, you ask? There are no rules! You can list them any way you choose. You can use pictures, write a story, or simply put a list. You can explain in great detail OR you can leave us all wondering what a weirdo what you are talking about.

Whether or not you all choose to join, I plan on taking this on. I need to focus my life on the good things. Believe it or not, there ARE good things!

When am I going to start this, you ask?

No time like the present! So, without further ado, let's start with the letter "A".

"A" is the first letter of my daughters name. She works in a department store. Recently a homeless woman was in the store looking at shoes. She could tell the woman was homeless by her clothing and the fact that she was pushing a baby stroller with all her possessions in it. (thank goodness, no baby) My daughter happen to be working in the shoe department that day, and she struck up a conversation with the lady. The lady was very friendly. She told my daughter that she couldn't afford any of the shoes. As my daughter looked down at the lady's feet, she noticed her shoes were full of holes and very old. It happen to be raining that day. My daughter asked the lady what size she wore. The lady said 7 1/2. My daughter told the lady she would buy her a pair of shoes. The lady was so surprised. "Bless you, my child" is pretty much all the lady could say to my daughter. My daughter bought the lady shoes AND socks that day. To say that I am a proud momma would be an understatement! My daughter is my favorite "A".

Angels are around us. I believe they are everyday people that do extraordinary things for others. I think my daughter was an angel that day.

Aunts are fun. (but not at a picnic....HAHA) I don't actually have an Aunt, but I AM an Aunt. Believe me, I'm a fun aunt. I absolutely LOVE being an aunt. I can spoil my nephews and niece and then send them home. Is that what it's like to be a grandma? (Eva??)

Absolution is one of those things you probably don't think of very often, but in this spanking world, isn't that what we are seeking? Absolution from our sins? Not in a biblical way, but just in a general way. I like being absolved! And if that means getting spanked....all the better!

Aquariums are fun. Ours happens to be 72 gallons of salt water fun. We have some lovely beauties in our tank. It's quite calming to just sit and watch them. I think it's better than TV. (Hmmmm, maybe I should post some pictures???)

Apples, Apricots, and all assorted A fruits and veggies help to keep me healthy and happy.

I think I'll end with something appropriate.....

Anal play is starting to grow on me! Last week, Bossman and I had a nice spanking session followed by some anal play. At first I was scared, but he used lots of oil and just played around. After a time, he said, "I'm just going to put the tip in." I said, "JUST DO IT!" And he DID! All the way! It was fantastic. Now I can't stop thinking about it. I want to do it again....and again.

Ahhhh, see? Life is good! Just thinking about all those "A" things makes me smile.

So, what sort of "A" things are you grateful for today?
