dirty laundry

I was only joking when I said I would do my next post on laundry. Apparently, you all are fascinated by laundry. Therefore I feel it is my duty and honor to write a post about laundry.

First of all, what is it about dirty laundry? It's obviously dirty. It smells bad. There are stains. Dirty laundry can tell you a lot about a person. First of all, you can usually tell if it's a male or female. You can tell if it's a baby, child or adult. You can probably even tell if it's a teenager. If you dig further, you find out, what kind of perfume they wear, what kind of deodorant they wear, what they had for lunch or dinner.

If you look at my sons laundry, you would find lots of grass stains, every pair of jeans with a holes in the knees, lots of paint and marker stains, and always, always, always, you will find food stains. You will easily be able to tell what he had for breakfast, lunch and dinner. You most certainly will be able to tell that he plays sports. As with most little boys, you will smell that dirty dog smell that he so sweetly smells like after a hard day of play. Mixed in the laundry basket, you will find, army guys, hot wheels, Star Wars figures, and plastic toy guns. This is my son.

My daughters laundry is a whole different story. My daughter chooses to wear thongs. There has been great controversy over whether a good parent would allow their precious teen wear such a sexy piece of clothing. My short thought on that is...I can't stop her. She buys her own underwear, and she would wear them whether I said yes or no. She started wearing them before I even knew she wore them. Her friends would buy them for her. Since I'm pretty positive she isn't sexually active, I am not to concerned about the thongs. So, in her laundry, you would find thongs, you would find the hormonal smell of teen female. You'll find miniskirts and pink striped socks. You would also find secret notes from her friends. Notes about the worst teacher in the school, the cutest boy in P.E. class and (unfortunately) which girl in school is pregnant. Her laundry tells the story of her life. It's chaotic and grown-up, and it's little girly and sweet. It tells the story of a girl child trying to become a woman. This is my daughter.

Bossman has boring laundry. It's smells extremely manly. It has the occasional crumpled dollar bill, or a few stray coins. You might think the man was having an affair because you could easily find scraps of paper with a woman's name and phone number. Lucky for me, I KNOW better. These scraps of paper do give you a glimpse into his "other" life. Names and numbers of people that he talks to and comes in contact when I'm not around. This is my Bossman.

So, what does my laundry say about me? What would a person find out about me if they went through my dirty laundry? Would they notice my tigger tee-shirt with the holes in it that I got when I was pregnant with my son and I still love to sleep in? Would you notice the food stains that I always spill down the front of my shirt? What about the receipts that I always leave in my pockets? If you read those you would know what stuff I buy at the store. Like the tampons and the kitty litter. Would you notice that there is only one bra? Would you notice that I wear jean and tee shirts? Would you smell my favorite perfume, "sweet honesty"? This is me.

Laundry, like life, gets dirty. There are plenty of times when my life smells. Sometimes the smell is yucky, sometimes it's sweet perfume. Life also gets stained. Births and deaths, stain our lives in permanent ways. Ways that won't come out in the wash. Heartbreak and happiness, fade in and out of our lives just like the stains that we get out with a little "spray and wash".

If you took a look at my laundry 6 months or 6 years ago, you would have found something different than today. Laundry, like life, changes over time. Soon my daughter will have grown up laundry. Maybe she'll have the newlywed laundry. The kind with lots of sheets and towels. Maybe she'll have the laundry of a tired new mom with baby spit up on every one of her shoulders. Soon my sons clothes will get bigger. Someday he will have teen boy clothes. Maybe instead of grass stains, I'll find notes from girls. Maybe he'll leave his student id in his pocket. Maybe I'll still find some football sweaty clothes. Maybe instead of the dirty dog smell, I'll smell the hint of cologne. Maybe...

What will the laundry from Bossman and I look like in the future? I don't know. I hope it will have stains from graduation cake, stains from the wine at the wedding toast, and new grandbaby spit up stains. I hope it will still smell like sex and old spice, and sweet honesty. And maybe, if you look closely at the bottom of the basket, you might just find, mixed in with the clothes and socks and underwear...

The backscratcher that I once again hid from Bossman!

The ramblings of a bored woman

I have nothing big to write about. There has been great sex, 3 mornings in a row, but no spankings to report. I've had a blog block for the last couple of weeks. Hence the reason for no new posts. Thank goodness for Tuesday, or my blog might start growing dusty.

So I thought I would give you a little peek into my everyday life. This is what has been going on, and most of it is boring, so feel free to click on a link on my sidebar if you feel yourself nodding off.

First there is football. The season is half over. Remember, Bossman is the coach and this is his very first coaching experience. I feel so sorry for all you teachers, for dealing with parents is the WORST! Everybody wants their child to be the star. Let my child run the ball, let my child be the quarterback. SHEEZ, people, get a grip, your child is NOT an athlete. Your child doesn't pay attention. Your child doesn't do what the coach tells him to do. Your child probably doesn't even LIKE football. Oh, and by the way, just because your child was the star of the baseball team, doesn't mean he will be the star of the football team.

The first half of the season was a bust. Our team was worse than the bad-news-bears. They lost all their games. They couldn't even score ONE touchdown. My poor husband had coaches quit on him, the team mother quit, parents accused him of yelling at their little darlings. One of the mothers actually told my husband he was running the team like the NFL. Uh, if he ran the team like that, why didn't we win any games? By the way, most of the trouble was from 2 parents. The rest love my husband and think he's doing a great job. And NO, he's not trying to run the team like the NFL.

(yes this is a picture of Bossman and my little man on the sideline. Little man had just had the wind knocked out of him so he came out of the game. Bossman and little man were waiting for the next play so little man could get back in the game.) I don't think identities are being revealed. At least I hope not.

But my husband is the king of cool. He is such a great guy, and a great coach. Yes, the team wasn't fairing well, but they were mostly new kids, they have a new coach and we played REALLY tough teams. No, Bossman did not yell at any kids, and he got the coaching staff back on track. He had to get one of the coaches to step down because he was such a negative force on the team. One of the ladies on the team stepped up to be team mother, and I am helping her plan the after season party and order the trophies. Yes, they get trophies even if they are the suckiest team in the league. Because they are winners, even if they don't win.

Well, last weekend we WON! Yup, our team (who hadn't even made ONE touchdown)actually won the game, with 2 touchdowns! We were so excited! You would have thought we won the superbowl. It was the best day! The kids were on top of the world. My own little man (who plays center) was sure to point out that if HE hadn't hiked the ball perfectly, they would NOT have made the touchdowns.

On to the rest of my life. I was looking for a job. I mean, it would be nice to have some money for christmas. Plus, the wildchild is having a 16th birthday next month, and you know I have to make it special. So I'm stressing about money. Someone gave me a lead on a job. I talked to the people. I got hired. Good news, right? As soon as I found out what day I was to start, I freaked out. I had a major panick attack. I couldn't do it. This particular job was going to involve going into businesses, cold turkey, so to speak. Once I realized what I was going to have to do, I freaked. This has never happened to me before. What the heck was my problem? I tried to talk myself into realizing I can do anything I set my mind too. I really tried. But Bossman (my hero) saw how extremely upset I became, he immediately said, NOPE. Not gonna happen. He told me to forget the job. He wanted me to stay home until I find something I comfortable with. He said not to worry about money, we would muddle through as we always do. He said the stress wasn't worth it. Am I the luckiest person ever?

I can't get over feeling so guilty. I should be out there making a few bucks to help our family. I should be brave enough to take on new challenges. But I'm not. I hate new things. I shouldn't say that I hate all new things. I love new adventures, as long as it involves me and Bossman.

Once when I was in high school, I had a job selling newspaper subscriptions. They would drop me on a corner and tell me to canvas the area. By-my-self. I would freak out. I would walk around the neighborhood. I couldn't make myself go to one of the doors. NO way! So I would lie, I would tell them that nobody was interested in a subscription.

That's how I am, that's how I tick. I am a pretty personable person. I can easily work behind a counter. I have no problem dealing with people in that capacity. But make me do something cold turkey, I will die. My heart will race, my face will get hot, my legs will twitch. My stomach will hurt so bad, I will have to have a bathroom nearby. But I hate being that way. I hate that part of myself.

So, that's whats going on in my part of the world. It's neither exciting or glamorous. But it is what is.

Next post: the exciting world of laundry

Why?

Why do we do "this thing we do"? Why do we like it? Why does a grown woman, an independant woman, a strong woman, want someone to spank her butt.
Why?

I believe that my spanking journey is just that, a journey. The thing about this journey, I've begun to realize, is that it doesn't have a destination. I am on a constant quest for knowledge, about myself and about my partner. I've learned so much about who I am and who I want to be. I have learned to tell Bossman things that I held so tightly in my heart, I didn't think I would ever share it with anyone.

I may never know the whys. That is hard for me to accept. I am the kind of person that wants to know why. I fight against why all the time. If the why isn't good enough, then I question my motives, I question my thoughts and my feelings, and then I start doubting myself. If I start doubting myself then I feel the need to explain myself. I need to know, in my heart of hearts, that this is OK. If I can't get an answer to the why, then will I forever be questioning myself? Will I forever wonder if what I'm doing is OK? I don't like thinking that I don't have an answer for the why. If I don't have the answer, have I lost control? Have I lost my way? And isn't spanking suppose to be about losing control? Isn't it about handing over control to someone else? Sure, I've given the consent. But does that mean I've given away part of myself? I sure hope not.

My journey so far has led me to believe that I may never know the answer to why. If that means I've lost control, then so be it. I trust Bossman enough to give him control. If that makes me weak, fine. I'll take weak. As long as I know who I am and what I need, then I guess the why doesn't matter after all.

Or does it?

note: I thought you all didn't love me anymore because I posted this yesterday, yet had no comments! The one time I post something and don't go and view my blog because I was in a hurry, I find out that since I wrote part of this a long time ago, I forgot to change the date, therefore it posted back on the date that I first started writing it. (hows that for a run on sentence, teachers?) ANYWAY, lesson to you all, check your dates before posting! Really, this blonde thing is getting OLD!

not in the mood for N

I really wasn't in the mood to write a list for N. There are tons of great things to be thankful for that start with N, like nipples and naughty and naked. But my list seemed like the same ole' thing, and kinda boring.

Therefore I would like to take this opportunity to be grateful for blogging. (I missed the b's )

Blogging is such a great invention. It amazes me how many people take the time to write a blog. I have gained some very valuable information by reading blogs. I have found helpful advice and some really weird stuff too.

Sometimes I find that I invest my emotions into other peoples blogs. I find myself feeling sad for them, happy for them, angry at them, or worried about them. I've found that some blogs are true to life, and some are fantasy. I've learned not to read too much into a blog. I mean really, unless you know the person personally, in real life, how can you know if it's true or not. I've learned something from every blog I've read. So to you, great bloggers, I thank you!

Isn't it interesting how invested we all get into this blogging world. Suddenly when I get on the computer it's all about checking on all my peeps! (0k, that's what Bossman says when he sees me head for the computer.

Yes, I feel you all are my peeps. You are the people that understand where I've been, where I want to be, and where I'm going. Because you've all been there. Maybe you're just starting out. Maybe you're exactly where I want to be. Maybe you're right where I'm at, right now. Point is, it doesn't matter, because I learn something from each of you. Even if you're not real, even if you're just a writer, writing stories, I learn from those too. I learn what I like and what I don't like. I learn what makes me tick.

Thank you all for helping me to learn and grow. Thank you all for your wonderfully supportive comments. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I would list each of you by name, but the list would be long and I would surely forget someone. Therefore, I would encourage anyone reading this to check out my links. These links are my favorites. I've got a whole lot more blogs that I check into once in awhile, but if you've made it on my link list, than this post was for you. You are the most special ones. You are the ones I read almost daily. If I could I would give you all a big hug!!

One more person that I cannot forget to mention. Most of you know this man. He has the kindest, gentlest spirit. He doesn't have a blog, but we know him and love him. His Mel, was the luckiest person around. From the little glimpses into his life that he leaves on each blog, we know that his greatest love was and always will be, His Mel. I have never read a negative comment from him EVER! So, Paul, thank you for reading my blog. Thank you so much for your kind and gentle words. Thank you for your words of wisdom. Thank you Paul, thank you!

Well, that's it. For me, it just wasn't an N kind of day!

it takes time

It takes time to develop relationships. So why do we feel the need to hurry things along in life? Elis talked about wasting time in her relationship by not communicating things to her husband. Same thing happened to me. In my situation, I think it just took that much time before I was willing to share such a deep, dark, not exactly normal, secret. For such a long time, I thought it was wrong and weird to want a spanking. To tell someone would cast me in a different light. It would make me "unperfect". Not that I am perfect, but that I was different from the norm.

I've often thought that sometimes it just might take people that long to get comfortable enough to communicate at such a deep level. How did I know how my husband would react if I asked something so, out of the box, of him? Maybe he would have thought I was too different, and decide to leave. He might look at me differently. He might not love me anymore. Lucky for me, none of these things came to light. Lucky for me, my husband loves me no matter what sort of kink I might have.

Sometimes it makes me sad that people don't give relationships enough time to grow. We have such a throw-away society. Sometimes I feel like our society doesn't care so much for "long term relationships". Shows like Who wants to marry a millionaire and My big fat fiancee mock the long term relationship. They make you believe that love can be found in a short period of time and that you will be happy. How can anyone truly know someone in such a short period of time? How can you open up and tell all your deep dark thoughts to another person without knowing them very well. In todays world, people have no problem with divorcing or leaving relationships, without even giving them a chance to thrive. Had I given up on my relationship when things got rough, I would have lost my soul mate. Because I chose to stay with my relationship, I learned how much Bossman really, truly loves me.

People don't seem to have the patience to endure the hard times. Oh, don't get me wrong, I don't think people should stay in abusive, hurtful, relationships. But I do think people should not be so quick to get out when things get a little tough. I think they should take the time to work on it. If they don't, they could lose the best thing that ever happened to them. If they take the time to work on it, and it still doesn't work, well, at least then, they know they tried.

If your still reading this, then take this from me. Don't give up so easily on something so important. When the going gets tough, don't immediatly bail. Work on it. Communicate. Take time to think. If you give up too soon, you could be giving up something more precious than gold. The very thing that you've been trying to find, could be right in front of you. But if you give up, you could lose it forever.

Magical M

After having a recent pity party, today is a day to be extra grateful. Believe me, it takes the pity right out of pity party if you start thinking about all the things you have to be thankful for. So on to the Ms.

Music is an important part of my life. Bossman plays guitar, and does it quite well, I might add. My daughter sings like an angel. I've even been known to sing solos in church. I like all kinds of music. Music can reach the depths of my soul.

M&M's need no introduction. They are chocolate and they don't melt in your hand. Although, I don't keep them in my hand long enough to test this theory.

Magic is all around us. The magic of a sunset, the magic of wonderful sexual encounter, the magic of a spanking. Not to mention magic tricks. I love watching magic tricks.

Mountains are all around me. They are majestic and mysterious. They are Gods handiwork in plain view.

I'm sure there is plenty of M's that I am not listing today. But these are the most important ones in my life right now. I did save the most important M for last.

Bossman starts with M. He is kind, considerate, loving and caring. He is the best father my children could ever hope to have. He takes care of me better than I take care of myself. His strength carries me through life. He has a great sense of humor. I love laughing with him. I am honored and humbled to call this man my husband. He is my soul-mate and the love of my life. I am beyond grateful to have this man in my life. These words do not even come close to how I feel about him. All I can say now is, I love you, babe! You will forever be my Bossman.

Enjoy your M day!

News Flash

This is a spanking news flash!

Spankings hurt.

That's right ladies and gentlemen, you heard it here first, spankings do hurt.

Studies have shown that using a paint stirrer or wooden spoon on a persons gluteus maximus in a repetitive fashion, does, in fact, cause pain.
As a matter of fact, if used too long, the pain in the derriere could last for more than 24 hours. Side effects of a spanking include, redness in the buttockal area, soreness when sitting, submissive tendencies toward the spanker, unusually high sexual arousal, strange need of another spanking. Other, but less frequent effects are extreme dislike of wooden spoons and sore stomach muscles.

Specialist in the field have recommended that if your going to receive a spanking, you should try not to receive that spanking the day before having to sit in stadium bleachers for any length of time, as this will only prolong the soreness.

A lesser known study was conducted recently on people who were spanked before a sexual act and after a sexual act. A recent researcher spanked his subject after giving his subject an unusually strong orgasm. The subject reported that the spanking was extremely hard and hurt alot. The researcher reports that the spanking was in fact, not that hard, and the subject was just being overly sensitive. Two days later, the researcher gave his subject a spanking before engaging in any sexual conduct. The researcher discovered he could give the subject a longer and harder spanking without nearly as much response from the subject. The subject, on the other hand, reports that indeed the spanking was easier to take, but this spanking was alot harder and caused the her buttockal region to be sore for a much longer period of time. The subject did report that the orgasm after the spanking was, in fact, phenomenal.

That is all the time we have left for this news flash, we will now return you to Spanking with the..., I mean Dancing with the Stars.....

The party is OVER!

First of all I would like to thank you all for your encouraging, and silly, comments.
The pj party sounds great! Sitting around in pj's talking about men, sex and spanking could be a very enjoyable night.

Tigger has graciously decided to take on all our spankings. Not sure how that's going to help me, but it's really kind of her. ;) Now, where is that link to Dante, he might want to hear about this.

As for the m&m's and fudge brownie ice cream...why didn't I think of that? That really would have been the icing on the cake. But thanks for the thought Shy.

Now, some things I learned during my pity party.

1. Wearing your sweats with the paint stains on them and the tee shirt that says, Worlds Best Mom, but it reads, old Bet Mm, and has a orange cheeto stain on it, to pick up your kid from school....not a good idea. You're bound to see Patty Perfect, picking up her perfect children Pasty and Peter. Not only will you see her with her perfect hair and perfect clothes and her make-up perfectly done, but she will want to talk to you about the next PTA meeting. If you think staying in the car will help you avoid Patty Perfect, YOUR WRONG! She will hunt you down and if this happens to you, make sure your teeth aren't orange from the cheetos, and the socks that you're wearing with your flip-flops don't have holes in them because nobody wants to see your big ugly toe.

2. Pity parties aren't nearly as much fun if you actually have to get out of bed. Plan ahead, if possible. Go to the bathroom before entering the bed and make sure you start the party AFTER you pick up children from school. Otherwise, read #1 again.

3. Eating cheetos in bed with cheesecake may taste good at the time, but later that night when your husband finds orange stains and cheesecake crumbs in bed, he won't be happy about it, and chances are your going to have the change the sheets before he will even sit on the bed.

4. Watching daytime tv can be very cathartic. Little House on the Prairie is always good for a cry, but you know you've lost it if your crying over the commercials.

5. Although cheesecake and cheetos both claim to have cheese in them, they don't. Not only that, but if you're going to consume large quantities of these, you might keep the pepto handy.

6. Pity partys can only last so long. Eventually you have to throw out all the junk food and make dinner for the family. Eventually, your husband will very nicely tell you that you smell disgusting and if you don't get up and take a shower he will take you outside and hose you down. Eventually, you have to stop crying over Laura Ingalls and get back to life. Eventually.

7. A cheesecake hangover is no laughing matter. Your stomach can only handle so much. I'd tell you more, but some of you might be eating right now and I wouldn't want to ruin that for you. Just know, it's NOT pretty.

8. A spanking after a pity party is bittersweet. You know you don't want it. You know you need it. Your husband is MORE than willing to give it. As a matter of fact, he WANTS to give you a spanking. In the end (the sore end) it does help put things in perspective.

9. Pity parties are only fun if there are people around to feel sorry for you. They aren't nearly as fun if the people around you could care less about your party. Its even worse if the people around you constantly insist on telling you how great your life is. I do NOT want to hear how great my life is. It takes the pity right out of the party.

10. Finally, and listen closely because this is the most important thing I learned during my pity party. The house does NOT, and I repeat, NOT clean itself. So when the pity party is over, the cleaning must begin. If mom is throwing herself a pity party, the kids will throw a real party all over the house. And kids being kids, they will NOT clean up after. Of course, this then leads to a spanking, which you need but don't want. It also leads to dish pan hands.

Anyway, feel free to print these helpful pity party hints for yourself. It would be a shame if I couldn't save anyone from the cheesecake hangover and cheeto stained sheets.

As for me and Bossman, he spanked my butt, but good! He then proceeded to give me a fantastic orgasm. Of course this only happened after I changed the sheets on the bed and took a shower.

The next day, it was sex first and spanking second. Which now brings me to topic of my next post. Is there a difference in spanking if it is before sex or after sex. YES people, yes there is. I plan on studying this further to give you my final analysis. But, don't expect the results until next week. I have alot of cleaning to do.....

P.S. I know this is a rambling, jumbled mess, but that is how life is going right now. Don't worry, I'm fine. Thanks for all your support! HUGS!!!!

Terrible, horrible, no good, very bad.....

I'm not really in the mood for blogging. In fact, I'm not in the mood for much lately.

It will be 2 years tomorrow that my Grandma died.

Bossman and I are drifting apart right now. Don't worry about us, we will be fine.

I don't feel like doing anything but sleeping.

I think I'm getting sick.

My life is in a rut.

Could this be hormones? Let me check the calendar....

I don't like myself right now.

Nobody likes me, everybody hates me, I'm gonna eat some worms! (remember that book?)

Ok, I'm done now. I'll be in my bed, under the blankets having a pity party if anyone needs me! (now, what is in the junk food cabinet? I hope there is chocolate, I NEED chocolate!)

I know, I know what you're all thinking, I do NOT need a spanking. Nope, I don't. I don't need anything but junk food. Cookies, candy, if I wasn't so down I would go to the store and get cheesecake. YES, cheesecake, that's what I need. But I DON'T need a spanking!

And don't even think of telling Bossman that I do!

L is for......

Lollipops - I really like the ones with gum in the middle.

Licks - If you going to eat a lollipop you have to be able to lick. Of course I love licking other things too! :)

lemons - Isn't it amazing how you can just look at a lemon and your mouth gets all watery?

lips - What would we do without lips?

lady - I love being a lady. I'm proud to be a woman.

living - Well, guess this blog wouldn't be here if I wasn't a living, breathing human. I count myself lucky to be alive.

lunch - I really enjoy going out to lunch with my best friend. She and I can sit and dish for hours.

lovers - I consider myself lucky to have found an awesome lover.

links - I love clicking on a link and finding something amazing on the next page. Links have brought me a great bunch of e-friends. I am grateful for links.

lions - King of the jungle? What's not to like? Here kitty, kitty.

Lord - I've said it before, so I'll say it again. I believe in the Lord.

L - My daughter goes by a nickname that starts with L. She is my wildchild. She is gorgeous and she knows it. She can sing like an angel. She is the class clown but a teachers pet. She loves being the center of attention. She plays the ditzy blonde, but she's actually very smart. She is loving and kind. She is a great big sister to her brother. It has be an honor and a privilege to watch her grown up into a beautiful young lady.

I'm sure I've missed some of the L's. There are just so many the list could be endless. I'm just lucky enough to be able to see how wonderful life is.

later.....

Where were you when the world stopped turning?

I was still in bed, trying to catch a few more winks before I had to get up and take the wildchild to school. My phone rang. Who could be calling so early in the morning? It was a friend. I met her at the other end of town and she drove her son and my daughter to school. She said he son wasn't going to school that day. Had I turned on the TV yet? No, I hadn't. "It's bad" she said. What? What happened? Something is going on in NY. Turn on your TV. Ok. Thanks for telling me.

I reached for the night stand for the remote. Bossman asks, "what's up?" D just said something is going on in NY and I should turn on the TV.

There is was. A plane had hit one of the towers. I didn't want to look, but I couldn't look away. Should I take my daughter to school? We decided yes, this was too much for a child to watch, and by then, we knew it was the only thing that would be watched on that day.

Right before I left to take her to school, a second plane hit. It was just too much. I got in the car and headed off for the 30 min drive to her school.

In the car I didn't want to turn on the radio. I knew it would be bad. My daughter was only in the 6th grade at the time. She wanted to know what was going on. I told her there was a plane accident in NY. At the time, I didn't know that one of the towers had fallen. I didn't know that terrorist had attacked our country. I didn't know.

At the time, my daughter was going to a private christian school. I knew that whatever was happening, would be taken into consideration at the school. Although I had strong feeling that I wanted to keep my daughter close to me. I knew my daughter would be in good hands.

After dropping my daughter off at school, I turned the radio on. It was then that I found out that one of the towers had fallen. I switched the radio off. I couldn't understand what was happening, but I wanted to get home. I needed to get home to my husband and my 3 year old son. My daughter was safe, I knew that, but I almost turned around to take her home. I didn't turn around, because I knew this would be bad and I didn't want my daughter to see me upset. So I went home.

My son was watching Blue's clues in the bedroom and Bossman was glued to the TV in the living room. I got home in time to see the second tower fall. I went in the bathroom and cried.

The rest of the story doesn't need to be told. I'm sure everyone has a similar story to share. It's a day that will forever be etched in our hearts and our minds.

So I'll leave you with the lyrics to Alan Jacksons song. It pretty much sums it up.

Where were you when the world stopped turning
That September day?
Were you in the yard with your wife and children
Or working on some stage in L.A.?
Did you stand there in shock at the sight of that black smoke
Risin' against that blue sky?
Did you shout out in anger in fear for your neighbor
Or did you just sit down and cry?

Did you weep for the children who lost their dear loved ones
And pray for the ones who don't know?
Did you rejoice for the people who walked from the rubble
And sob for the ones left below?
Did you burst out in pride for the red, white and blue
And the heroes who died just doin' what they do?
Did you look up to heaven for some kind of answer
And look at yourself and what really matters?

Chorus:
I'm just a singer of simple songs
I'm not a real political man
I watch CNN but I'm not sure I can tell
The difference in Iraq and Iran
But I know Jesus and I talk to God
And I remember this from when I was young
Faith, hope and love are some good things He gave us
And the greatest is love.

Where were you when the world stopped turning
That September day?
Were you teaching a class full of innocent children
Or driving down some cold interstate?
Did you feel guilty 'cause you're a survivor
In a crowded room did you feel alone?
Did you call up your mother and tell her you loved her?
Did you dust off that Bible at home?

Did you open your eyes and hope it never happened
Close your eyes and not go to sleep?
Did you notice the sunset the first time in ages
Or speak to some stranger on the street?
Did you lay down at night and think of tomorrow
Or go out and buy you a gun?
Did you turn off that violent old movie you're watchin'
And turn on "I Love Lucy" reruns?

Did you go to a church and hold hands with some strangers
Did you stand in line and give your own blood?
Did you just stay home and cling tight to your family
Thank God you had somebody to love?

Chorus:
I'm just a singer of simple songs
I'm not a real political man
I watch CNN but I'm not sure I can tell
The difference in Iraq and Iran
But I know Jesus and I talk to God
And I remember this from when I was young
Faith, hope and love are some good things He gave us
And the greatest is love.

Chorus:
I'm just a singer of simple songs
I'm not a real political man
I watch CNN but I'm not sure I can tell
The difference in Iraq and Iran
But I know Jesus and I talk to God
And I remember this from when I was young
Faith, hope and love are some good things He gave us
And the greatest is love.

And the greatest is love.
And the greatest is love.

Where were you when the world stopped turning
That September day?...

Be careful what you wish for

Remember the first time you ever got a spanking? Remember how it hurt much worse than you thought it would? Remember thinking, I asked for this? Why did I ask for this? Do you remember thinking this is not the way I thought it would be?

These were the questions roaming my brain yesterday as Bossman was exerting his authority on my behind.

Spanking is so much better when your reading a story about it. It's so much more sexy and hot when it's just a thought meandering through your brain. It's wonderful to think of having your husband take charge of your house and how life will be perfect. Oh yeah, spanking is GREAT when it's just a fantasy.

Yesterday morning I knew Bossman would be staying home in the morning. He had already warned me that his calendar was clear and that we needed to clear up some things in our life. He took the little man to school and I huddled under the blankets watching a little tv. I knew we were going to have a discussion. Of course I am never a fan of the "over the knee" discussions. I know, how can I say this when I've been dying for an "over the knee" discussion for a while? Like I said in the previous paragraphs, I LOVE the fantasy, but the reality isn't quite as fun. It's defiantly a dilemma for me because as much as I want this, and I need this, I still don't like it when it's happening. Although....there are times when I like it when it's happening, but I usually like it after it's over.

When he came home he crawled back into bed with me. Of course, on thing led to another and we ended up having some wonderful sex. We spooned, and I reached back to fondle his, and he reached up and fondled mine. After a time, he knew I was about to cum, he put his inside mine because he wanted to be inside me when I came. It was intense and it was hard. It was also rather wet. Yes, there was some squirting going on, and although he did some squirting, I did some too! It was really great, and it relieved some of my stress.

Usually if we have sex before a spanking, we tend to forget about the spanking. I had two different thoughts about this. On the one hand, I had waited for a long time to get a spanking. I really needed this. I was disappointed. On the other hand I was breathing a sigh of relief because as much as I needed this spanking, I didn't really want it. This is hard for me to understand. It's hard for me to put into words. It's complicated.

So we take a shower. One of my most favorite things to do in the world is take a shower with Bossman. We take showers together alot. Believe it or not, sex doesn't usually come into play. Sometimes it does, but sometimes it doesn't. That's Ok because he really knows how to take care of me in the shower. He washes my hair, he conditions the hair, he washes all my parts, all the crevices. He will even shave my pits. I tend to lose myself when he's doing his thing in the shower. It's the one time and the one place where all the stress and worry in my life disappears. I can only describe it as spiritual.

After the shower I think he's going to get ready for work. I was disappointed, but I wasn't. How can you be disappointed when you've just had amazing sex, and an amazing shower? I couldn't be too upset, I mean really, am I that selfish? Ok, I am, but only in my head.

We got dressed, but Bossman did not put on his work clothes. I'm not sure what this meant, but I knew he wasn't going to work. He made a couple of work calls, and then took me to get breakfast. Nothing fancy, just some drive-thru. We came home and ate our breakfast. I was watching a talk show. After we ate, he turned off the Tv and pulled me off the couch. Now I knew what he was going to do. I wasn't too happy. I had already figured it wasn't going to happen. I had already turned my mind on to other things. I didn't want to do this now. So I tried to talk him out of it.

Of course I couldn't talk him out of it. So he took me to the bedroom. He had me stand against the wall, and he pulled down my pants. While I had to stand there remember, this is what I want, this is what I asked for, he got out the wooden spoon and the paint stirrer and the bamboo backscratcher. OUCH.

"no," I pleaded. "I'm not ready for this." "Please, we don't need to do this right now".

My words fell on deaf ears and before I knew it, I was over his knee. The very first slap was painful. I knew it would be. He wasn't even spanking hard, but after a summer with no spankings, my butt wasn't ready. I don't think my mind was ready either.

He used the paint stirrer, which is really just a warm-up. Honestly, it is the one thing that doesn't hurt very much, but even that was hurting. After a warm-up he used the spoon and the backsratcher. I don't recommend the spoon for anything but cooking. It hurts a lot, but it gets the point across.

When he was finished, he sat me down and we talked about getting back on track. He told me some of the things that he thought I should be doing. I agreed. I have been awfully lazy lately. It was really nice to talk things through.

By all accounts, the spanking wasn't a bad one. I just wasn't ready for it. But the rest of the day was lovely. My butt was just the right amount of sore. You know, the kind of sore that you can feel when you sit down, but not enough sore to make it uncomfortable. The kind of sore that makes you wish your husband was there so you could jump him. The kind of sore that makes you horny and slightly wet all day. It was the kind of sore that made me remember that Bossman loves me. And I love him. And spankings weren't so bad. Actually, they are pretty good.

I know, I can't decide. Do I like them or not? I do, and I don't. Let's just leave it at that!

later.....

**update** Last night Bossman and I got a little busy again after the children were in bed. I just couldn't help it. How can you expect me to go all day being horny and not jump his bones the first chance I got? Two times in one day? Unheard of, I know, but what can I say? It was my very lucky day!!!

It's a "K" kind of day

Can you believe I thought today was Monday???? Thank goodness I went to check out some other blogs today and saw all the K's floating around. Believe it or not, I had this post ready last week, and here I am lagging behind! I do have a good reason. REALLY, I do. Bossman stayed home this morning. That's all I'm saying...for now. *wink wink*

Anyway, on to the K's. These are just some of the things I'm grateful for today. But mostly I'm grateful for Bossman. And spankings. And school. Oh, I forgot I've got a list of K's, so here they are!!!

Kittens are great. We are having a blast with ours. He's such fun to watch. He's curious about the world around us, yet he's just like a toddler, getting into everything. He's amused by a shoe box, yet he's content to sleep where ever he gets tired. Did I mention how cute he is??

Kites are so much fun. I remember the wonder in my childrens eyes when we took them to fly a kite for the first time. I remember them holding on to the string extra tight, so as not to let it fly away.

Do you remember drinking Kool-aid when you were a kid? My mom would never let us drink soda, but there was always plenty of Kool-aid on hand. My favorite flavor? Pink lemonade.

Bossman is the keeper of my heart.

What would I do without my kids? They make me laugh, they make me cry. They are a gift from God. **Update, my daughter just called and landed the lead part in the school play!

Kit-kats are one of my favorite candybars. I like to eat them by layers, biting off the top layer first and working my way down. Come to think of it, I tend to eat alot of stuff that way. Some say that if you take apart your food while eating it makes you a better lover. Not sure if that is true, I'll have to ask Bossman about that one.

Hugs and kisses are a great way to show how much you love someone. I'm lucky, I get hugs and kisses A LOT! My son never forgets to give me hugs and kisses before school. My daughter hates giving me affection, but I think she likes it and won't admit it. Of course Bossman gives me as many hugs and kisses as possible, and I really enjoy a nice hot kiss from him.

The knowledge that there are others in the world that enjoy spankings as much as I do makes me HAPPY. How did I ever come to be this happy and comfortable in my spanking life without the internet and the knowledge that others don't think I'm weird? Knowledge is a great thing.

A lot of people consider spanking kinky. I used to think that kinky was a bad word. Not any more, I LOVE kinky!

Well, have a great day. I know I am!

Superman

This is how I feel about Bossman. He is definitely my Superman!

Unfortunately, this has not been happening at my house. Life has taken such a busy turn that Bossman has not had a moment to think about us. The good news is, Bossman has been doing some great things in business that financially could be great for us. But that means the d/d has still been in the back seat. It's ok for now, I totally understand, but it's still hard. I think it's dragging me down. I was so looking forward to school starting, but things just haven't fallen into place. Oh well!

But with all that said, Bossman is still my Superman.

Have a great weekend everyone!

HUGS!

The "J's"

I've been thinking a lot about all the things to be grateful for that start with J. I had a bunch of great ones, and now that I finally have a chance to sit down and type it out, I forgot them all!

Let's see if I can come up with anything.

My son. My sons name starts with J. He is such a blessing. He makes me laugh all the time. He's smart, he's funny, he's cute. He smells like a dirty dog when he comes home from football. He's the sweetest little man I know. He's extremely sensitive, and every night he prays for the sick and hungry children in the world. When the football team has to run, you will most likely find my son helping the little boy that is the slowest, cheering him on, and pushing him to the end. My son is my blessing.

Juice. I love orange juice. It's like my coffee in the morning. It peps me up and brightens my day. My mom wouldn't buy orange juice because it was too expensive. No matter how much money we have or don't have, juice is always in the house.

Jasmine. I love the smell of jasmine. It is calm and peaceful. What more needs to be said?

Joy. Life would be so unhappy without it.

Jam. I just love strawberry jam on an English muffin. Goes great with my juice

Junk food. (sung to the tune of "Favorite things", from the Sound of Music) Whip cream and chocolate, ice cream and strudel, cookies and candy and snickerdoodles. Pizza and popcorn and ju-ju bees...these are a few of my favorite things.

Last, but never least...

Jesus I don't usually like to talk about religion in this blog. I find it hard to mix religion and spanking. But the J day would not be complete if I didn't say how grateful I am that I know Jesus. I believe He died for me. I believe that I am here today because of Him. I would not be who I am without Him. Enough said.

Hope you all have a great "J" day!!!!!

For Eva and Elis

Love you guys!

New addition

So I bet you didn't know I was expecting a new additon to my family. On Friday, the new additon arrived! We have a bouncing baby boy! He weighs in at 5 ounces. He's got green eyes. He's actually 9 weeks old and he's just about the cutest kitten EVER!!! We've been trying to think of names all weekend, but we haven't really come up with anything permenent. Right now we are calling him Mr. Kittles. But none of us can remember to call him that and we end up calling him kitty. So any name suggestions would be great!

Enough kitty talk for now. I bet you all think I've been holding out on you all and I've gotten some good spankings. Nope. Nothing, nada, zip, zero, zilch!

No fair! I've been really naughty. I've been sassy. I've been moody. I've been very very bratty. So now that school has started I've been anxiously waiting for my due punishment. But poor Bossman has been super busy. Not able to come home like he usually can. Not able to take care of business here at home. sniff sniff!

Bossman promises that soon we will be back on track. Hopefully this week will be the week to get things going again.

Now, do you think I should clean the bathroom today? Or should I make it extra messy so he will HAVE to spank me? These are the questions that must run thru a spankos mind. I know they run through mine!

Have a great week everyone!
later......

Update: YES, that is my kitty! I am so proud of myself! I FINALLY figured out how to post a picture! Can't figure out how to do it from the net, but I'm getting there. Sometimes it's a real curse being blonde and all!!!

here's the thing....

Ok, Ok, so I ruffled a few feathers with the teachers, Elis and Eva. All that excitement about school starting, well, they just didn't appreciate it.

So, I feel guilty. I mean, How was I suppose to know that my countdown to freedom, was their countdown to confinement? That my bliss over having getting my butt spanked, meant the end of their vacation?

If you read her blog today, you know what a horrible summer she had. I mean really horrible. She slept late, read the paper, took naps, worked out, played on the computer, oh and she found out she's a spanko. If you ask me, boring.

But really, I shouldn't be so happy about this turn of affairs. I shouldn't take joy out of reading all my blogs in peace and quiet, without having to worry about little eyes reading over mommies shoulder. Or worrying that a blog might have a red butt on display the moment it pops on the screen. I really shouldn't take joy out of drinking my juice and watching Regis and Kelly, seeing as how all summer, the juice was gone before I got up, and instead of Reeg, I got Spongebob. Nope, I shouldn't take any joy out of having those little eyes and ears at school, so that I don't have to hear for the one billionth time, MOMMY, I'm bored!!!

Now for the serious part.

I'm sorry, truly, I am. Elis, Eva, and all the other teachers out there, I bow to you. You do great works. You teach the minds of our children. You don't get paid nearly enough for the jobs you do. You have the future in the palm of your hand. It's up to you to teach these children so that they may grow up to be great things. It's up to you to mold and shape these little minds. I truly respect and honor teachers. Instead of paying millions to a guy to play baseball we should be paying you millions to teach our children. So thank you. Thank you for doing your job and doing it well. Thank you for taking the time to teach our children! Thank you, thank you, thank you. From the bottom of my heart.

Serious part over.

Time for me to turn on Regis, drink my juice and read my blogs! So many blogs, so little time.

(Ok, now I'm doing the mommy happy dance!!!!) later......

update: I tried for 2 hours to figure out how to post a picture of an apple on this post, just for you teachers. I just couldn't do it. I followed all the instructions, but it didn't work. I might just need a teacher to help me.

The letter "i"

Gratitude Tuesday is here again! I've been looking forward to it, believe it or not. I have been paying more attention to the things I'm grateful for, and if it begins with "I" I've been taking note so I can blog it. If you haven't been doing it, you should, it's a great way to keep the blessings at the forefront of your mind. On to the list.

Ice cream: The best ice cream of all time is cake batter and brownie from Cold Stone. But if your eating it at home, it's gotta be Moose tracks!

Ice tea: I love ice tea, it's delicious and refreshing!!!

Internet: The Internet has opened many doors in my life. I've gotten great ideas, I've learned many things. I've learned that I'm not the only one that likes to be spanked, and I'm not weird for liking it! I've met many great people, and have made many friends that I would never have met otherwise. What would we do without the Internet?

Invitations: Doesn't getting an invitation to something make you happy? It makes me feel like someone really does like me and wants to celebrate something with me. Getting an invitation in the mail just makes me smile.

Independence Day: This is the day we celebrate our nations birth. Something about watching fireworks and listening to the National anthem just makes me proud. I'm proud of our country. With all the turmoil in the world, I'm just grateful I live in this land of opportunity. God Bless the USA!

Ice cubes: There are so many fun things to do with ice, but I'll let you all use your imaginations on this one!

Imagination: Without imagination this world would be very boring! We all have our unique thoughts and feelings and imaginations. Think of all the things we do in life that would be boring without imagination. Sex, blogging, stories, art, even the gardens in our yards take imagination. Ever watch a child use their imagination? My son can make a stick at the beach into a machine gun. My daughter can take the most interesting pictures of herself using nothing more than a mirror and a camera. These are the most innocent forms of imagination! Life would be nothing without imagination.

I: I hope this doesn't sound pompous or conceded, but I am grateful for me, myself, and I. Sometimes that can be hard to admit, and frankly there have been times when I haven't been too grateful for myself. But I've learned that I am loved by a lot of people. If I didn't exist, my children would not be here. This world would be missing out on something extraordinary if they weren't around, for I feel they extraordinary human beings. So I'm grateful for I.

Well there you have it, the "i" list. I have to admit, this week was a little bit challenging. I mean really, how many things can you think of that begin with I? I can't wait to see what everyone else came up with!

Of course there is one more thing I'm thankful for but it doesn't start with an I, it starts with a S. Can you guess what this might be??? YEP, SCHOOL!!!

Tomorrow is the first day of school for my son. He will be starting the 3rd grade. My daughter started 11th grade last week. Although I really enjoyed spending time with my kids this summer (no, really, I did!) I am glad school is starting. This means Bossman and I have more time alone. Bossman has such a flexible schedule that he often has time in the morning to just hang around the house. This also means we can get back to our d/d routine. It's way too hard to do any spanking in the summer, if I remember correctly I think it probably only happened twice. There is absolutely no way to implement any sort of discipline around here in the summer. So HOORAY for school!

Everyone have a great Tuesday, and start looking out for things to be grateful for that start with J!

and now for this important commercial......

Did you notice a change around here???

Blogger has decided that you can go beta for your blog now. Since I have no idea what this means, I thought I would check it out. After reading about it, it seemed like it would be a good idea to change my blog over to beta. From all the reading I had done, it seems that you can change your blog around, change colors, add links, and all kinds of great things with just your mouse. Sounded like I could add things and move things around without having to know html.

I'm a fairly bright person when it comes to the internet, but I still have no clue about html. I figured out how to put up links, but I'm pretty much clueless when it comes to adding other features to my blog. People out there know how to add movie clips, links, cool icons, pictures and such. I was proud of myself just for figuring out the links.

Anyway, this post does have a point...I promise!

The point is, I switched my blog over to beta. I LOVE IT!!!

So far, it's been great. It's super easy putting new links in. I can rearrange my blog any way I like. If I want the links on the left and the archives on the right, by george, I can! All I have to do is click and drag! How easy is THAT???

Notice all the different colors on my blog? I can pick a different color for just about anything on the page. I can change the font, and the font size!

All that with just a click of my button!

I still can't figure out how people manage to put such cool things in their posts, but I'm learning, and I think this beta stuff is really helping me out!

If any of you are html challenged like I am, consider switching over. It's super easy and alot of fun!

p.s. school starts day after tomorrow!!!!

Tiggers meme

Tigger posted this on her blog last Friday. I thought it was interesting, so I thought I would answer.

1. What are you punished for?
I get punished if I wear underwear to bed. I also get punished for not cleaning the bathroom. If I get too crazy, he may punish me to get me back on track. Sometimes he just spanks me to remind me who's in control.

2. How are you usually punished? (spanking, lines, corner time, etc.)
Corner time and Spankings

3. Does your punishment vary depending on the misbehavior?
No, although implement may change the general punishment usually stays the same.

4. What are you most often punished with? (Any and all possible implements)
bamboo backscratcher, wooden spoon, hand, paint stirrer, pingpong paddle.

5. Are those implements reserved exclusively for punishment?
other than the back scratcher, yes. (of course Bossman uses his hand for other things!)

6. Do you receive a certain number of strokes?
no, Bossman just spanks until he feels I've had enough

7. If so, how many or what range?
Not applicable (as mentioned above)

8. Have you ever been told to pick your own punishment?
no

9. If so, were you harder on yourself than your Dom/me?
no

10. How often are you punished for real offenses (on average)
if it's not summer, probably once or twice a week

So, there you have it. This is how it works in our house. I would encourage some of the rest of you to answer these questions. They can be quite informative!

FYI: School starts Wednesday!!!!!!

The beginning

For most of you, this will be the end of my story, but for me it was only the beginning...

One week later was my 18th birthday. Since we didn't go to the same school, we weren't able to see each other everyday. We talked non-stop on the phone though. I didn't bring up the kissing thing. I knew he was shy, but this was getting ridiculous. So, back to my birthday. (kitten, if you thought this story was disgustingly cute, you might not want to read the rest..LOL)

My sister decided to throw me a surprise party. She invited all my friends from my youth group. She got Bossman to take me out to the beach while she prepared everything. We walked along the beach together, and held hands. I think it was one of the first times since skating that we had touched. Oh, to be so innocent now!

I pretended to be cold, so he would offer me his jacket. (I really thought I was clever) I wore his jacket, and I don't think I ever gave it back...LOL I can still remember his smell. You know that smell? It's like everyone has a certain smell, it's not a bad smell, but it's them. I know we all have that smell, but we get so used to the smell of the people around us that we forget about the smell. Once in awhile if I wear one of Bossmans jackets I can smell that smell again, and it always brings me to that evening on the beach.

Apparently, Bossman was an hour late bringing me to my party, which I didn't know about. Of course as soon as we pulled up to the house, I knew because I saw all my friends cars. The party was a great success.

The best part about the party was after the party was over. Everyone left, except Bossman. I walked him out to his car. Now, to set the scene I have to tell you, our house was out in the country, so there wasn't really any houses nearby. Therefore it was really dark. Anyway, I walk him to his car. I was so excited about the walk on the beach and the party.

He opened the car door, and we stood there talking. Finally, at long last, he leans forward and kisses me. It was a soft, sweet, innocent, kiss. It was the kind of kiss that you would like to put in your secret memory box. You know, the box that you keep your movies stubs and your love notes. The one where you put that flower that he picked for you from the side of the road and the chapstick that he let you borrow and you never gave back. (ok, is that sick or what??)

That kiss was the beginning of something extrodinary. How were we to know, at the moment, that this was bigger than we could even imagine? We didn't know where this kiss would lead. But we knew we were going to follow. At that moment we didn't know that 3 years later we would get married. We didn't know that 4 years later we would have our first child. Had you said to me that someday I would allow this person to spank me, I would never had believed it. We didn't know that we were soul mates, destine to be together. But we knew that this kiss was the beginning. The beginning of something bigger than ourselves.

Thank God for that kiss!

later.....

I live on Mars.

As someone pointed out, this story is disgustingly cute. ;) After reading it through, I realize, it is! Oh well, what can I say, we are just too cute.

After skating that night, we were trying to figure out if everyone had a ride home from the rink. We are all deciding whose riding with who, I asked Bossman where he lived. He tells me he lives on Mars. Yep, that's right, Mars.

I started cracking up. How many people can say they live on Mars? It was just a funny thing to say. First thing I'm thinking is, ok, I have a real weirdo on my hands. But then I realize, all the streets around the neighborhood we were in are named for planets. I was just glad he didn't say Uranus. LOL

Anyway, if you remember from the first part of the story, I said this was a Monday night. I remember it very clearly because it was the first official day of spring break. After we got everyone a ride home, we went our separate ways. Bossman and I were not going to be riding in the same car as we lived in different parts of the town. You would think that this would be the part of the story where he gets my phone number, or I get his, but no, there was no exchanging of phone numbers. So we said goodbye, and I figured that was the end of it.

Actually, I really had hope that he would call. I mean, my friends were his friends, so I knew he could easily get my number. So all week, I sort of waited for the call. I never gave it a thought that I would call him. I know I made the first move, but I wasn't that brave. Besides, even though I asked him to skate, it really was against my nature. I really thought that the guys should do all the asking. Come to think of it, this might be why I have such a hard time asking Bossman for spankings. I still think the man should be in charge.

Of course I had some of my friends that were in the band with Bossman calling me all week discussing how I skated with him. Remember, this was way out of my character so they couldn't believe it. Of course they called to tell me that they thought he liked me.

Friday came upon us. Still no call. Every Friday, I had a babysitting job for some people that went bowling. I tell my mom, please call me if a boy calls. Ok, she assures me she will call. Do I get a call on Friday night, when all teens are calling girls and asking them out to the movies? Nope. No call. Or so I thought...

(oh gosh, this story is so high schoolish! Too funny)

He finally calls on Saturday. Wants to know if I'll go out with him that night. Shoot. Our church group was having something over at the church. Should I go out on a date with someone? What about my friends? What if something major happens while I'm not there? (ok, just for the record, nothing major ever happened, but what IF??) So I take a chance, I say yes!!! After I hang up, I call all my friends. Because now, now I am cool. I have a date. With someone outside of our group. Someone we don't normally hang with. Someone tall!

(this next paragraph is just for Ceeci )

Now I had to decide what to wear. The bottom wasn't tough, I LIVED in shrink-to-fit Levis 501's. I had a lot of them, and they were all worn just perfectly. Not to dark and stiff, faded just perfect. If I remember correctly, I wore a sweater on the top, the kind that had a big open "V" in the back. Remember those? Mine was the kind that a 3/4 length sleeve, because I have long arms, so long sleeves were always too short. I had long dangly earrings. (scary thing is, some of this stuff is coming back into style) I looked hot...not! But I thought I did, and that's all that mattered. My hair was feathered back nicely. My hair wasn't so much big, but it had the great layered look with lots of feathering back. Oh yes, it was great.

So, Bossman picks me up and my mom is of course shocked that I am going out on a date with someone other from my youth group. He comes to the door to meet my parents and of course my younger brother and sister were being quite the pain. Finally after the embarrassment factor is over, we leave.

Now he hasn't told me where we are going. He takes me to dinner. We ate mexican. To this day we only live 30 miles from that restaurant and we still love to dine there. We actually talked, and got to know each other a little bit. After dinner, we decided to cruise. For those of you that don't know cruising, we drove up and down the main street of our town. That's it. We just drove up and down the street.

Since that got boring quickly, we drove over to the church. Mostly so everyone could see that I really was out on a date. I had to show off.

When he took me home, that was it. There was no kiss. He just said goodbye, and that was the end. I was disappointed there wasn't even an attempt, but as I learned that night, Bossman was very shy.

After that night, we hung out and talked on the phone a lot. We didn't go to the same high school, but he would frequently come by my school at lunch time to hang out. After a month of dating, there was still no kiss, but we did a lot together, and I started going to the band practice. (of course I would)

Like I said, a month had gone by, and everything was really innocent. He hadn't kissed me, nor had he asked me to officially be his girlfriend. One night we went on a double date with friends of his from school. His friend was driving. When we went to drop off his friends girlfriend at the end of the night, they would spend 30 min or so making out at the door. (saying goodbye..HA) Bossman would just sit in the car and talk while they would say their goodbyes. Finally, Bossman asked me to be his girlfriend. "So, will, uh, will you uh, will you be my girlfriend?" "Um, I guess." I'm pretty sure that is how the conversation went. So there, now we were officially "going" together. Surely now he would kiss me. You'd think.

But no, they dropped me off at home, and there was no kiss.

I was starting to get a little worried. Although I was thrilled at the prospect of having a official boyfriend, I couldn't figure out why he wasn't kissing me. Was my breath bad? Maybe his breath was bad. Did my deodorant fail me? What was going on? I just didn't get it.

I will reveal in my next post how I finally got my first kiss from Bossman. I didn't really realize this story was going to take so long to write. I do know, I'm having a great time reliving my first love. Now it's time to go kiss my Bossman.

rollerskating and 80's hair

Ceeci shared her love story last week and asked that others write theirs. So here is the story of how Bossman and I met.

Bossman and I were still in high school when we met. I was a senior and he, just a junior. (I know what Eva will say here, cradle robber!)

When I was in highschool I was very involved in a youth group at my church. This group was very important to me. I did everything with those kids. We must have spent 3 or 4 nights a week at church doing something. We had a choir, we had a puppet ministry, we went and visited the shut-ins. You name it, and our group was probably involved.

Our group consisted of teens from 2 local high schools. The town we lived in was pretty small, so these were the only local high schools. Needless to say, they were rival schools. But as for our group, it didn't matter which school you attended, we were all one big happy family.

Some of the kids in our youth group decided to start a christian rock band. These kids all went to the rival school. They hooked up with a guy from their school that could play a killer lead guitar. They started bringing this guy to our church functions.

Now, just so you know, I wasn't very active in the dating scene. Although I was a senior, dating just wasn't really important to me. Heck, I was in church most of the time anyway, and we all hung out together. There was a lot of boyfriend and girlfriend stuff within our group, but we all seemed to like just hanging out together in a group, so none of us really did much "one-on-one" dating. I did have a couple of guys that I tried to date, but it never lasted long, because I always wanted to hang with the group. I felt like if I wasn't there I would miss something.

Anyway, my friends start bringing this guy, from the rival school, to different church events. Now this guy was really tall, which I liked, because I'm really tall, and it was hard to find guys in high school taller than me. This guy had dark curly hair. Now remember, this is in the middle of the 80's, so the in thing was big hair. Remember, this guy was the lead guitarist in a rock band. So he had long poofy hair. Typical 80's rock band hair.

So, I'd been seeing this guy at some of our church functions. But I hadn't really talked to him. We may have been a church youth group, but we weren't very open to newcomers. It's not that we were mean but we were just full of ourselves. You know, typical teen stuff.

One night, our group had a rollerskating party. I'll never forget it, it was a monday night. It was spring break. We were having a great time. My friends brought Bossman to the roller rink. Remember how big rollerskating was in the 80's? Just hearing 80's music brings me back to the roller rink. At this rink they would have different things happening. Some songs were special songs, and they would call it couples skate. If you wanted to skate during that song, you had to have a partner. They didn't care whether it was a girl or guy, but you had to skate with a partner. Usually, during these times, I would either skate with a girl friend or just sit it out. So my girl friend asks me to skate with her.

Now, mind you, this is the end of my senior year. I've only got about a month or so until my 18th birthday. And a couple of months left of high school. But I was very shy around boys. Especially boys that were not in our church group. For some reason, on this night, I was feeling a little frisky. So when my friend asked me to skate, I just wasn't feeling it. I looked out on the skate floor and some of my friends with boyfriends were skating around, holding hands and such, and it looked so romantic. I looked around the sides of the rink, and this boy, the one that my friends had brought, was sitting on one of the benches just watching the other skaters. I knew in that moment, I should ask him to skate. So I tell my friend, I think I'll ask that guy to skate with me.

This was so out of my character that my friend couldn't believe it. She says, puuleesse! There is no way your going over there and asking him to skate. I thought about it for a minute and said, "yep, think I'll ask him." So she dared me. "Sure you will," she said, "I don't believe you'll do it." So.....I did!

I skated over to him, and sat down next to him on the bench. I pretty sure I was having a nervous break down, but ever so clever as I am, I pretended to be fixing my skate. When he didn't even really look over at me, I thought, oh man, this is going to be harder than I thought. But I took the plunge and asked anyway.

"uh, hey, how's it going?" I said. "oh, hey, it's goin'." He said. "so hey, uh, wouldyouskatewithme?" "Uh, ok." he said, and stood up. So we both go on the skate floor and start skating side by side. Not touching or anything, just skating. So pathetic. Just thinking about it makes me laugh.

After a few rounds around the rink, I ask him his name, he asks me mine, and there you have it...our first meeting. Still no hand holding, but just talking and skating.

But then the whorish little wench that I am comes up with an even better plan. After witnessing a couple of friends skate by backwards, I ask if he knows how to skate backward. Sure, he says, and turns around to face me, and starts skating backward. So I say, I don't think I can skate backward. So I turn around and try. Pretending that I can't skate backward, he turns around and puts his hands up, so he can push me around backward. Aaaahhhh, I touched him...tee hee!

Anyway, that's how the rest of the night went. We pretty much skated around together the rest of the night. I pretty much kept trying to skate backward and he kept pushing me around the rink. It was really fun, and I felt so free, like I had broken out of my shell. I mean I ASKED a boy to skate. A boy I didn't know. How cool was that??

There is more to this story, but I've got to take the little man out for some school shoes. If your not too bored, stop by again, and I'll finish up my cute little high school story.

Gratitude Tuesday

I've always loved gratitude Tuesday over at Ceeci's place. Seems like I always showed up on Wednesday, so I never posted my own. I have sat and made up my own list in my head, but I think for now I will post them here. So here's my list, and don't worry, I'm still working on the love story!

Today is the letter "H".

Hugs: How would I survive without hugs. Hugs make people smile. I love hugs.

Halos: Angels would look pretty silly without them, but I always carry mine in my pocket. ;)

Heath bars: What can I say, I just love that candy bar.

Holidays: I love spending time with my family on the holiday. I love the traditions we have. Besides, who doesn't like opening presents?

Hopscotch: Is there anything sweeter than watching little girls playing hopscotch? If only we could bottle up that innocence.

Hairy chests: Bossman has the best chest. Rubbing my fingers through his hairy chest really makes me feel calm and safe.

Handspankings: Spankings are good, no matter what, but my favorite spanking of all would be the hand spanking. What better way is there to connect with Bossman? I believe that getting a spanking by hand is the most intimate form of spanking.

Home: They say Home is where the heart is, and for me, that is true. My home is the place where I am safe and my family is safe. It's the place where there is unconditional love. Where else is there unconditional love?

Heart: I saved hearts for last. Hearts are my favorite. I collect heart boxes, and you can usually find me wearing some sort of heart jewelry. Hearts represent love and without love the world would be a very sad place to live.

Well that's it. I hope you enjoyed it.

sandpaper down my shorts

Last week was a hard week. Lots of things happening. The little man is starting his first season of football. So last week was his first "hell" week. We didn't know what to expect, but it wasn't too bad, and the little man loved it. Only problem is, Bossman came home from the first day of practice and announced that he is the coach. Not the assistant coach, the head coach. Great! We've never done this before, but now my husband is the coach? That's the last time I send him alone to anything! So the whole week has been consumed with football. Football talk, football phone calls, football practices, and low and behold, football on TV. Oh well, The little man is thrilled that daddy is the coach, and Bossman is having lots of fun with it. Can't wait for the first game, when all the parents start yelling at him because their precious one is not the quarterback, or didn't play enough, I think you get the picture..LOL

One week after shaving the kitty, I've discovered sandpaper in my shorts. Its so prickly and rough. If I don't touch it up everyday, it gets really itchy. That's the down side of the shaved kitty. The up side...it's way more sensitive.

There haven't been any spankings, but there has been plenty of talk. Bossman has said many times that he can't wait until school starts again. There have been a couple of times when he has lamented that he should spank me right then, because he knew I really needed it. This is a good thing.

It's nice to know he thinks about it. It didn't used to be that way. I always worry that I have forced him into something that he doesn't really want to do. Believe me, he assures me that he does. But I am not the most confident person in the world. One time, we were having a conversation about this very subject and he looked at me with such a shocked face and said, "what man wouldn't want to spank his wife, if given the opportunity?" Hmmmm, that's a good point. So I guess I shouldn't worry to much about that. Although, I hate to think that he is just doing this to make me happy. I want it to make him happy as well. Since he's been the one to mention it, I'm thinking it's making him happy too.

That's all I've got for today. I've been having a bit of a writing block lately that's why the posts have been sparse. Sometime last week, Ceeci wrote a beautiful piece about how she and Mojo met. She asked others to write their stories, so I think I'll write that for my next post. Stay tuned for that!

Days until school starts: 1 week and 2 days!

Just when you think nothing would happen...

It DID!!

The kids decided to spend the night and grandmas house Saturday night. Can you believe it??? A night alone with Bossman, and NO kids!!!

Where do I begin to tell you about it? I can hardly believe my good fortune. When we first got home, we did our own thing. I got on the computer, he grabbed a magazine to read and went in the other room. I sat here for about 10 min and then I thought, AM I NUTS??? What am I doing here? I've got my husband to myself and I should be taking full advantage of him.

So I went to the bedroom and laid next to him. Asked him, "whatcha reading?" He just looked at me and said, "nothing important". Then he said, "I think it's time for me to spank you", to which I said, "nah, we can just skip it." But he prevailed! Hooray for Bossman!!!

First he had me stand against the wall by the closet. He pulled down my pants and unhooked my bra. While I stood there, he got down all the instruments of my torture. Paint stirrer (not bad) wooden spoon (horrible, evil thing) bamboo backscratcher (horrible, but not too bad) and he lined them all up on the bed.

After he got all ready, he led me to his lap. He started with just his hand, which was good, but after not having been spanked for a long time, it really hurt. Then he kept switching instruments so I never really knew which one was coming next. It really hurt, but it was a good thing.

After my butt was pretty much on fire, (thanks Bossman) he had me stand against the wall again. He placed a blindfold on me. While I was standing there, I could hear him going back and forth from the bathroom and the linen closet. I wasn't really sure what was coming next.

He laid me on my back on the bed, and I could feel a towel under me, so now I had a pretty good idea what he was going to do. That's right folks, if you haven't guess by now, he shaved me. Yep, shaved the kitty clean.

Oh my goodness, it was so erotic. We didn't say a word, he worked in silence. I couldn't see, so I was in a world all my own. He used his electric razor and his beard trimmer. Just so you know, those electric razors make great vibrators!!!

Needless to say after Bossman made me nice and smooth, he really got me going. Oh yessssss, baby, he really got me going.

This is where I have to leave you all to your imaginations. Let me just say, I'm a really happy camper today!

Countdown til school starts....2 weeks and 2 days.

tagged!

Erica has tagged me and since I love this kind of thing...here it goes.

Once you have been tagged, you have to write a post with 8 facts/things/habits about yourself and say who tagged you. In the end, you will need to choose the 6 people you tag and list their names. No tag backs.

1. The beach is a spiritual place for me.

2. I collect dolls. I have at least 50 porcelain dolls.

3. I have huge feet. And very ugly toes. (yuck)

4. My favorite book series is call Outlanders, by Diana Gabaldon. Yes, there are a couple of references to spanking, but that's not really why I like them. Of course the spanking scenes make it that much better. ;)

5. I lived in Germany for 3 years, but can't speak a word of german.

6. My family and I have been on the local news 3 times this year.

7. I'm addicted to Big Brother, and have the live feed running in the background as I write this.

8. My favorite ice cream is cake batter with brownie mixed in from Cold Stone Creamery. If you haven't tried it...do it NOW!!

Since everyone I know has been tagged, I'll tag,
Eva and Elis and Mike

nothing new

I've got nothing new to report. Things have been boring, not even one spanking to report.

But the good news is, the wildchild goes back to school in 2 weeks and the little man goes back in 3. I'm told spankings will resume in full force as soon as they are safely out of earshot.

Bossman has even stated he's thinking of taking a whole day off, just so we can get back on track! I can't decide if that is a good thing or a bad thing. My heart says good, my butt says BAD!

Well, hope you are all having a great week! Heres hoping I can think of something wonderful to write about in my next post!

training your man????

I watched part of the Today show this morning and I saw a segment that really bugged me.

Mind you, I caught the end of the segment, so I didn't see the whole thing, but the gist of the seg was about training your man. Now, I know that we women always say we are "training our man", or we've "trained him" to do something, like putting his socks in the hamper..things like this, but this segment offended me because....

They were comparing men to animals. They actually had a woman who was an animal trainer, and they were comparing ways that training animals could help you train your man.

Am I the only one that has a problem with THAT???

Since when did our husbands become pets? To be fair, they took an e-mail from a man who wanted to know how to train is wife. Oh yes, I really want to be fair here!

One woman wrote in and said her husband is always late. She calls him an hour before the appointment, half-hour before the appointment, and 15 minutes before the appointment. Yet, they are still late. Do you even want to know what Ms. Animal trainer had to say? She said that he really liked all the attention that she was giving him, even if it was negative, and the first thing she would do was stop calling him all the time. ~sigh~

First of all, the ladies husband is a moron. Anybody that would consistently make himself and his wife late is a moron. Why would a husband be that rude? Don't get me wrong, we all run late once in awhile. But if your wife, or husband is calling and reminding you, every 15 mins, what the HECK is your problem???

Second, do we really crave attention so much from someone that we would want them to call and tell us about said appointment every 15 min? I'm sure those are really pleasant calls to get from wifey. I'm sure they weren't nagging or nasty. Nope, they were probably very pleasant calls. They were probably something like, Hi honey, remember, we have this appointment? I would appreciate you being there on time. Ok dear, love you.... Yeah, that's how they were, I'm sure.

So Ms. Animal trainer says don't call him all the time. Yeah, that will work, I'm sure. I'm sure when the next appointment comes up, and the wifey doesn't call and remind him, he will miss her nagging voice soooo much that he will NOW be on time. Yeah, I'm sure that will work.

All I know is this, I don't try and train my man. We learn and grow from each other. We see what annoys the other, and we try not to do that again. Did I train Bossman to spank me? Nope. I told him what I would like, and he tries to make me happy. (ok, it wasn't that easy, but you get my point)

So, how does spanking fit into all this? If Bossman spanks me for not cleaning the bathroom, is he trying to train me? In my ever so humble opinion, nope. I believe that life is full of consequences. If you don't put gas in the car, you will be stranded on the side of the road. If I don't clean the bathroom, Bossman will spank me. (usually) Consequences. Not training!

Training is for pets, not for husbands. Either that, or Petsmart should start having obedience training for husbands.

Beachy kind of day

Thank you all for your cheerful comments!

I took the kids to the beach yesterday and had the best time. Usually I spend my time in my chair reading a book. Yesterday I decided to go in the water. I mean, the weather is still hot, but at the beach it's only in the 70's. The pacific water is usually pretty cold, so most of the time I just stick my feet in.

Anyway, I rode the waves with my son. I boogie boarded with my daughter! Oh boy, it was great fun, and we all came home with a sunburn! I really lathered that sunscreen on too. But the water was great, and the waves were great and it was a great way to forget about lifes troubles.

The car is fixed and the temps are going down. Now if I could just get that spanking.....

ups and downs

I have to admit, I had great fun writing the last couple of posts. It was interesting to go back and analyze our relationship. Funny how our perspective changes when you go back and look at it. I can tell you, those feelings were not so easy to identify when your going through it.

But last week was not a good week for me. Writing those posts was a great way to take my mind off of all of lifes troubles. Our finances are not the greatest right now. This is always stressful. Trying to make a teenager happy, plus keep everyone busy this summer really takes a toll. On top of everything else, our car decided to break down. With only one car working, I didn't get out of the house much last week. Talk about stir crazy! Not to mention the weather has decided to break all the heat records. I'm used to 70's, to have the temps reach 90 and 100...without air-conditioning....ARRRGGGHHHH!!!

All this stress is making me very cranky. I've been flying off the handle over really stupid things, and so I'm not much fun to be around. The kids have been around too much for any spankings, so that makes everything worse. Bossman has had plenty of reasons to break out the back scratcher, but there just hasn't been any opportunity for that.

But this week is much better..thank you very much. The car is getting fixed, even if it is costing us an arm and a leg. Although the weather is still hot, if I keep the fans trained on me the whole time, I won't melt. The finances will work themselves out, they always seem too. But no spankings in the immediate forecast.

I will try hard this week to snap out of the cranky mood. I will....I promise!

later......

The end....whew!

It's amazing how I thought this one little story would be a nice little post. Suddenly it's something that just keeps growing....

Once I realized it wasn't always about me, I had to figure out how to make it beneficial for Bossman to want to continue this lifestyle. What was his motivation for doing this? I decided that after every spanking, I would show him what a difference it made in me. Not only me, but our relationship. I showed him how much more submissive I am after a spanking. I showed him how much better sex is after a spanking. And guess what? He got it.

One day he just got it. One day he was spanking me, and he took it farther than he ever had. For you see, up to this point, I could still control the spanking. I knew that if I made too much noise, or wiggled a little too much he would stop. He probably knew this, but he also didn't want to hurt me. Even though I yearned for a really hard spanking, one that would leave a lasting impression, when the going got a little too much, I would just use my little tricks to make it stop. I still don't understand why I did that. Because afterward I would be so mad at myself. Why would I do that? Why would I stop a perfectly good spanking? For heaven sake, it's suppose to hurt, right?

So one day he kept going. Even after I loudly protested! None of my tricks worked, he just decided to keep going until He felt he was done. That wasn't very fun, but let me tell you something, it worked. He finally realized I wasn't going to be mad at him, I wasn't going to be throw him out. He got it. (of course I got it worse. heheh)

So this is where it stands today. My husband spanks me when he needs to, or if the kids are around, then when he can. There really are no hard lines that we have drawn. One of the biggest things in our house is keeping the bathroom clean. Does he spank me everyday if I don't do the bathroom? No. But when he feels the need has arisen for a spanking, he delivers. I don't sit around everyday wondering if I'll get a spanking. If I get one, goodie for me, if I don't, oh well. I've decided I have more important things in life to worry about and my husband just can't spank me everyday. That's ok with me.

It's not an easy road. I believe everyone that takes this road will find different stops along the way. What works for some, does not work for others. If you're going to compare your relationship to someone else's, it won't work. You can take ideas, but you can't live their life. If you try, your setting yourself up for failure. Stories are great for fantasy, but the reality is, it's never going to be the same. Don't set yourself up for that kind of disappointment.

So, did I convert a vanilla? I guess you could say that. But he converted me too. He converted me into the submissive person I was born to be. He shows me everyday what true love is. Without his loving support, I may have never been bold enough to tell him my secret.

And that my friends would have been the biggest tragedy of all!
